Attending a conference nearby. Pleasant staff, good location, near Euston Square tube. Décor in public areas bit 'Habitat meets Diarmuid Gavin's Garden furniture'.

Room very comfortable, nice bathroom and good walk in shower. Good toiletries. Excellent coffee percolator essential as kettle didn't work for coffee sachets.

Wardrobe is tiny as previously commented, fits 2 shirts max, 30% of space is already taken up with the hairdryer.

On balance a safe bet at the right price.

Room Tip: Was on 6th floor on front onto Woburn place, the rooms are smaller but traffic noise less.

This hotel is very close (500 m) to the St Pancras train and metro station so at walking distance from the Eurostar. It has a good breakfast (on Sunday a buffet, in the week à la carte, we liked both) and very friendly and rather efficient people at reception

Mold on the sheets, room the size of a pigeon hole, ridiculous bathroom that floods when you shower, no cupboard space, too small for a bar fridge, TV 50 cm from the bed and on the side wall ! The reception staff were good although they did nothing when I told them about the sheets. I won't stay there again.

Ill start with the great parts:

Great location to both Euston and Kings Cross
Cheap price

But thats about it unfortunately, we stayed for one night only and I couldn't have stayed another.

Small room - closet size
The hardest bed I have ever slept on - if you like a hard bed then stay here! If not go else where
Grubby entrance way
A bathroom that overflows when the shower is on
Lots of noise from passageway!

To be honest we probably got what we paid for, but next time I would rather spend an extra £50 and go elsewhere.

We visited this hotel last year and I wrote a very unfavourable review however we were asked to make a return visit this year and what a different experience we had we were given a delux twin room which was lovely even down to a fresh coffee maker I said last year how clean the hotel was and this was still the same it was spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the evening meal was delicious we had the newly introduced steak on the stone and it was probably one of the best steaks I have eaten the restaurant staff and the service was excellent breakfast was also very good quality food. I would now recommend the hotel it is very near Euston station so getting around London is very easy by tube the prices are reasonable for London.

Room Tip: Our room was at the back on 3rd floor it was very quiet we had 2 good nights sleep the delux twin has more room than the standard twin
