The room was clean but tiny. At the back of the hotel so very quiet. Bathroom was a wet room so everything gets soaked but plenty of hot water. Overall? Pluses and minuses but OK for a night or two if the price is right.

This was a present for a theatre break so I'm glad i never paid the rate. The hotel is a few minutes from Kings Cross and Euston tube. You can walk to Covent Garden 30 mins. The small staff are very pleasant and the breakfast good. On arrival they insisted on a cc or £50 cash. I stay regularly in London and this is never insisted on.
The hotel has no public areas other than a very small reception and some outdoor seats on a terrace which is dreadful as the rooms are claustrophobic. The bedrooms are spotless but tiny, the closet cannot hold a case only 4 hung items and there is no floor space around the beds. The bed is a small queen good mattress, A/C was ineffective, the opaque glass door to the toilet offered no privacy. There is no room for at oiler bag other than the floor, let alone 2 bags. The in room wifi never worked and we were in a fourth floor side room that was not well insulated from outside noise. In short, the rooms in Premier inn are bigger and better equipped and there is one around the corner. This hotel is fine for a single on a very short trip with no luggage.
The 4 star rating is because it has a gym which is a treadmill elliptical trainer and a cable multi weight thing, it is not for the size of rooms or toilet.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. My birthday treat. Mainly sight seeing and a concert. The hotel is in an good location, only 5 mins walk from euston station. The staff we found mostly friendly and helpfull although we didn't spend that much time there. we found the luggage room that they offer at no charge very helpfull as we wanted to get straight out there when we arrived to make the most of our time.
Our hotel room was nice enough,a bit on the small side but adaquate for our needs. The bed was very comfy and we both slept well. There was a bit of road noise but I suppose it depends on what room you are given. The room could do with a lick of paint. I noticed a lot of black marks on the walls. The bathroom was small but with a good shower.
We ordered room service on our first night which was very nice but did not use their restarant. It looked nice but a bit pricey if you are on a budget. There are lots of other places to eat just down the road.
We did have to point out a couple of issues we had when we checked out...We borrowed an iron and ironing board and found it to be potentionally dangerous as the iron almost fell off it twice. Not good if there are children in the room. The other thing being that on our welcome letter it was headed to a MR when they could clearly see that we are a female gay couple and were quite offended by this and felt the need to bring this to their attention...they did apologise.

If you are there for sightseeing there is a bus stop 5 mins up the road where the open top buses leave from. You can also buy your tickets there. It's well worth it. I would advise getting fast track tickets where you can as you will have to queue for everything!

All in all a nice stay at this hotel.

Extremely friendly welcome and room was ready early - I checked in around 12:00. Very small room but very well packaged and presented; a full double bed, small desk and a remarkably spacious bathroom.
I'm not sure the room would cope well with two people but more than adequate for one, even spending the afternoon and evening working in the room. Free Internet (hurrah! - as it should be in all hotels) that was fast and reliable. Everything was spotlessly clean and very attractively decorated.
Only quibbles would be the failure of the air conditioning to warm the room when the evening became chilly and the lack of a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom. Even a chap travelling on his own has some stuff...
I didn't add breakfast to the room-only deal. There are plenty of cafes around. There is also quite a good sized Waitrose supermarket nearby in the Brunswick Centre.

Room Tip: I suspect rooms at the back, like mine, would be quieter - Upper Woburn Place is quite a busy road.

As my son and I were travelling to Paris on Eurostar on 8th April we wanted somewhere to stay close to St Pancras International. Our choice was perfect as the hotel was just ten minutes walk from the station. Reception at the Ambassadors was friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and met all our needs. Being a short walk from Euston Square access by tube to the West End and other London locations was easy. The hotel had an attractive breakfast buffet and the cooked breakfast was well presented and served by friendly staff. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a short stay in London.
