If you're on a city break, don't pay silly money for breakfast at your hotel. Go to the Regency cafe and have a real English breakfast for about a fiver. Bustling place but brilliantly organised and kept in order by the memorable, stentorian Claudia. Excellent traditional food throughout the day.

Fantastic little London Cafe with a great Breakfast! Very fast, very tasty not at all expensive. Staff very friendly with lady behind the counter serving and taking orders having a very loud voice. Tea leaf tea that was fantastic, enjoy a great British Breakfast in very a traditional
cafe.

Went to Harrods yesterday spent £70 for two drinks pizza and a lasagne. At the Regency cafe this morning spent £12.50 on two amazing breakfasts and 4 drinks . Now questioning my self "why did I ever go to harrods?"

Just back from visiting this Cafe, had to go my son is keen on the film Layer Cake. Glad we went reminded me of how London used to be, before being owned by foreigners. This cafe has a 1950/60's London gangster feel about it, particularly with photos of the Krays on the wall.

Food was good, cheap, quick and plenty of it. We were made very welcome and found the atmosphere relaxing, so much more than the poncey restaurants in central London.

We will go again and recommend this no frills traditional Cafe to hungry Londoners or Londoners returning to their 'manor'.

Good portions, reasonable priced, comfort food, not faffy and a very mixed clientele. If you want table service and unsubstantial food walk on by. If you want "Chips, sausage, eggs, beans and gravy" bellowed at you across a crowded cafe this is the place for you. If it was good enough for James Bond it's going to be good enough for most diners. Try it, you will not be sorry.
