“Nice hotel in nice place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2010

We arrive at the hotel about 7 pm and it takes only few minutes that we are in our room. It was what we expect. Bed is good and room is clean. Our room is 5th floor and street wiew and is stll very quiet. Breakfast is plenty and althout is the same in every morning ( 6 ) is good for us. Its about 20 minutes to town center by bus. Almost only minus is the main airconditioning broke and it takes two days to fix it. Day temperature is over 23 C and night about 20. Is hot to sleep. We tell to reception that our room is hot and they give us a fan, which help a little. They don't tell that broblem to the guest before asking ! That takes one star off. In total staff was friendly and helpful. Our plane leave 7.35am in Standsted and we have to leave very early but checkout is just give the keycard off and go. We book a little late so price is a bit high but that's life.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and basically all we did was sleep there.
the rooms were big enough and although the bedroom was tidy and clean the bathroom was a bit grubby/worn and tiny!

The desk staff were very helpful and printed us out a map when we asked for directions.
We did not eat here but a friend told us the breakfast was very nice.
Also our friend told us that their room had a magnificent view of London (they were on the top floor) but we just had a view of the carpark from the 2nd floor so maybe request a high room with a view!

The car park was convenient but we were a bit annoyed at having to pay £14 to park when we had already spent a large amount on a bed for the night.

The bar/restaurant area looked nice and clean but we didn't use it.

This would be a good place to stay to visit London. Its actually not far from the end of the M1 so is convenient to reach by car.

I stay In premier Inns nearly every week at leats twice, all over the UK.

But this INN is just super the area is great, Parking super, Staff so friendly (they even know me now). I book this Inn now even if it means me tubing across London, yes others would be closer but its that nice

If I had one little moan is that some of the rooms a small and would be an issue if two where in them, but for one person fine.

Keep up the great work and ALL off you from the reception staff to the cleaners.

See you ALL next week.

Booked in advance and got a great deal on a room for myself and two teenagers.
Clean room which did the job. Friendly, helpful staff (I was able to store luggage for free after checking out which was useful).
Breakfast bit of a let down but adequate. Great location - easy for tube, Everyman cinema round corner, plenty of restaurants etc.

We stayed at this hotel for one night after being unable to get home. We first went to the Premier Inn Euston where receptionist Pedro was very helpful, reserving us a room at the Hampstead hotel, booking us a minicab there and explaining how to get back to Euston the next day.

The room and bathroom were both very clean, comfortable and pleasant if on the small side. The beds were very solid and comfortable and the pillows were also good. There were tea and coffee making facilities, lots of towels and a hairdryer as well as air conditioning. We didn't experience any noise at all in the room.

The staff on reception were very helpful. We were having a bit of a crisis about travel and they went out of their way to help, such as by getting us phone numbers for car hire, giving directions and printing emails for us even in the middle of the night.

The hotel is very close to the underground station (Belsize Park) with quick links into central London. The area seemed nice although we didn’t spend much time there and there were quite a few cafes and restaurants nearby.

Having paid £107 for a double room we were very happy with this hotel.

A girlie weekend in London.

Hamstead is lovely, with loads of wonderful restaurants with tastes from around the world just a walk away from this hotel.

Check-in was quick and very friendly. We were on the top floor (5) and had slight problems with the lift on the left hand side. Occasionally we would take the stairs as it just wouldn't work.

The room was lovely and large and the shower was very powerful indeed, although the bath was a little small.

No fridge for our bubbles but then again this is not a top class hotel in the heart of the city.

Breakfast was buffet and for £7.99 you could go up as many times as you wanted for a lovelly full English. For a couple of pounds you could go for the lighter option of just tea and toast. One Spanish lady member of staff was more like a Mum than a member of staff. Very caring and asking us what we did the previous evening and would she see us again. On leaving the hotel she even said 'goodbye and hope to see you all again for another girls weekend'. What a personal touch :) She deserves praise.

£14 a night for parking, but plenty of spaces at all times.

With just a small walk away from the tube station and off you go.

A lovely silent nights sleep, just what you need after a busy day 'up the smoke'.

First, the minuses. Perhaps I should have looked more closely at how you get these special offers of £29/£39, but in fact I paid £192 for two nights. I was on the fifth floor and the water had quite a struggle to reach my bathroom and was rarely hot when it got there.
Pluses? It scored in four important areas for me. All the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful; breakfast was tasty and plentiful (I recommend the sausages); the location is very convenient in a number of ways (see below); and, most importantly, the hotel lived up to its "good night guarantee" - I couldn't hear a sound from inside the hotel, and only a little traffic noise.
The main road outside goes up to Hampstead "village" and Hampstead Heath - both worth visiting; Keats's house is nearby. If you're a theatre fan, give the West End a miss for once and visit the Hampstead Theatre in Swiss Cottage. It's small but modern and stylish and stages some high-quality drama - it's one of the RSC's bases in London. A quiet residential road leads from the hotel to the theatre, about a mile away.
