Myself and two female friends had the pleasure of spending a three night stay at this hotel which is on the outskirts of London.
I could not fault any aspect of the running of the hotel - which is quite unusual for chain hotels!
The restaurant was run extremely efficiently, the breakfast selection was plentiful, hot and varied and the waiter service was superb and attentive.
The evening meals were delicious and we liked the idea of there being a themed selection available each night as well as the a la carte.
I would like to single out the waiter Suketu who was highly professional.
A small problem we had with the positioning of our room near a noisy vent was sorted immediately, when the staff quickly and carefully moved our clothes and luggage to another room ( upgrading us as well even though we did not request this), whilst we were out during the day.
The tube is only a 5 minute walk away and in 15 mins you are in the city centre.
A great, well run hotel that I cannot recommend highly enough.

I read a few reviews before travelling (but after booking!!) and was not sure how we would get on but i have to say it was an excellent stay . We were there for 3 nights and had 4 of us in total staying in a family room (called a suite room - guess cos it was bigger). We went on a 3 night pre pay deal for B&B. The directions to the hotel were spot on, it was on the picadilly line and was literally 200 yards. The line was fast and a great base for London but not being ontop of everything. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for you, they were absolutely fantastic. Every query, request and so on was met as if we were the most important people in the hotel It was very busy but they still managed to always have a smile and to respond to anything that was asked for.
The room was a great size, we had 2 x Z beds, a double bed, a bed settee that was not used as a bed, a large chair, large drawers, 2 x tables, large TV, decent bathroom, not that big but ok and a wardrobe area.
The breakfast had all the usual stuff. There were coach parties in so it was very busy but the food was constantly being replenished and meant that it was fresh. The waiting staff were excellent and if you needed more coffee or anything they were happy to help.
The sleep at night was fine, it was not far from a very busy junction but we didnt get disturbed by the noise (window closed but air con on!!).
The air con by the way was as powerful as you could wish for, had 3 or 4 settings.
Although it was very busy still felt the hotel staff knew your particular booking and gave that personal service - Anjila (reception) and Douglas (restaurant) were particular stars.
I would certainly go back because it was a great base, we are planning to go to Legoland next time but also it is handy for central london due to the tube line being extremely frequent and fast.
Also there is a general dealers that is open until 10.30 ish across from the tube at Ealing Common so if you need anything for your room, you can nip in there like Milk for the kids or chocolate to keep the wife happy whatever!!
The hotel was 3 star and yes it is not very flash from the outside and possibly needs a little updating around the edges but for the deals on offer it is fantastic value for money.

Stayed here last year and have to say I did not enjoy. However I reluctantly returned with business and I was blown away by the changes. Staff could not be any more helpful, so friendly and warm which is quite rare in London I find. They have themed specials in the Restaurant each night, we had Indian and I have never tasted anything like it, really authentic., absolutely delicious. They have decreased the parking charges which is very reasonable and whilist I agree that the rooms do need modernisation; they are very clean and the staff make up for that anyway. I will definatley be back!

The only positive is that if you are travelling from the M1 into London the hotel is easy to find and near the tube . This hotel really needs a refurbishment: the public areas look tired and the stairs have worn treads . The rooms are tiny and ours smelled of smoke - we could have moved , but since we were with a large party celebrating a wedding we wanted to be on the same floor as our friends: besides at least one other room used by our group was smokey too. The chambermaids wanted to come in and clean the rooms far too early in the morning . Drinks at the bar were costly and the breakfast was also pricey - a short walk to Ealing Broadway gave access to numerous places where a similar meal could be had for a third the price . And finally , the cab firm recommended by the hotel had drivers who did not know the local area - our trip to the church was via a very convoluted route and cost an arm and a leg !I would neither revisit nor recommend this hotel.

In my pokey room, the bed was broken, non existent air conditioning, slow service at reception and to top it all, I had my car stolen. Lot's of better choices like the premier inn at Kew.

We got married on Saturday 3rd July 2010 and we had our Wedding Reception at the Ramada Jarvis Ealing (which is up the road from st Matthew's Church where we had a beautiful Wedding Service.

We feel compelled to write to say what a perfect day it was and how incredibly impressed we were with everything about the Ramada Jarvis Ealing.

The hotel is set overlooking Ealing Common which is lovely, and yet is has brilliant transport and road links. The Ballroom is fantastic; newly decorated and very spacious, with great proportions, a stage, lovely large round tables, and a very large lobby that has it's own bar that can be used for welcome drinks. There are 2 further rooms off the lobby bar that we had set up as a kid's play room and a TV room (it was the World Cup!!).

The lobby bar has a door off it to the outside and the hotel is set back from the road with a line of trees surrounding the area, so the outside photos taken (on the beautifully hot & sunny day we had) have a background of trees and flowers! And guests could take a walk around the lovely Ealing Common after food before the party. It really is an ideal destination for a wedding in any season.

The events team were absolutely excellent leading up to the wedding. The events executive was extremely competent and efficient, as well as friendly and helpful. She was on hand whenever we needed her and she saw the wedding right through from the early planning stages to the wedding day itself. Her team on the day were brilliant and made us feel very confident and happy throughout the day. They were polite, professional, and always had smiles on their faces.

The food selection and quality was amazing and it was praised constantly by our guests. The chef did a superb job, and his team worked so effectively to serve the food promptly and with care.

Finally, just to point out that the Wedding packages offered at the Ramada Ealing are extremely well priced - they don't take advantage of the Wedding scenario like so so many others. Yet everything about the service is first class and we cannot praise the whole team highly enough. They worked so hard for us over the months and on the day itself.

Many many of our guests commented that it is the best wedding they have been to, and we agree!

Thoroughly reccommended! We'll add photos soon...

After reading some of the recent reviews of this hotel i am prompted to ask just what did they want or expect? i found the rooms the size of most similar hotels, comfortable and clean. The bar was a bit expensive but then what hotel bar isnt? The breakfast was again what i've come to expect from a chain hotel, but it was tasty, hot, and service for coffee was pleasant and quick. Coffee was nice too unlike some hotels.
The tube to Central London was about two minutes away.
I recommend those who found it unsatisfactory to pay more elsewhere.
