We stayed here for 3 nights while in London and the location was great. We had 4 adults in a room with 2 double beds and we were quite comfortable. The bathroom was modern and nice. We loved the towels as they were quite large, which is unique in Europe. The staff at front desk were very polite, but we didn't interact with them that much. The hotel is across the street from the tube station and several nice restaurants. We felt very safe at all times in this area.

Stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in a family room with 2 double beds. The room was quite spaciouse with a very nice and modern furniture. comfortable beds. Good size and very clean bathroom. Great location on a peaceful and green area, close to underground station. Hospitable staff both in reception and by the concierge (thnak you Diego). Overall excellent stay.

Still up to the great standard that I expect from such a hotel, with friendly, knowledgable staff, clean modern facilities and a great position. Only slight negative, is that a standard room is a little pokey! Would I stay here again? You betcha in a bigger room .

I returned to stay at Crowne Plaza Kensington and once again congratulated myself on the choice! The hotel is fairly small and cosy, the staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the hotel's one restaurant is pleasant without being flash. Where this hotel excels though, is with location. It is on Cromwell Rd and within easy walking distance of the Natural History and Victoria & Albert Museums. It is diagonally opposite Gloucester Rd tube station - on District, Circle and Piccadilly lines - so it is really easy to get to ... well just about everywhere! Overall it is a fantastic base from which to explore London and beyond!

Room Tip: As a loyalty club member, I've really appreciated being upgraded both times I've stayed.

Perfect location, easy access to tube as the station is 2min away. Recommend to try the Asian restaurant on premises. IHG rewards was recognised and a nice upgrade was provided. Room was spacious and clean and the even had an EU elctrical socket.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and overall were very pleased with the hotel.

The location for one was fantastic, located right opposite Gloucester train station. Gloucester train station is easy to reach via the tube from Heathrow airport. There is no need to take the Heathrow express as taking the Picadilly line was quicker and more direct. Within 5 minutes walk from the hotel, there is a Paul's cafe (great for breakfast and way cheaper than the hotel's breakfast), Waitrose (supermarket) and Boots (pharmacy). However, I would like to add that the Boots is really small and not well stocked. So for ladies who intend to stock up on makeup, you're better off going elsewhere. Basically everything you need is just located next to the hotel. You can walk to the next station (about 15 minutes), Kensington, where you'll find more eateries and cafes.

We had a room along the road on level 4 and you can vaguely hear the sound of traffic which is fine with us. You can hear traffic as the hotel isn't a tall building. The highest floor is around level 6. So if you are really sensitive to noise, you can request for rooms on the other side of the hotel (facing offices and a garden) which my parents had and their room was really quiet. The rooms and toilets are really clean and well maintained. Nothing to complain about there. The room layout differs. Ours was pretty cramped while my parents had a much more spacious room. Perhaps it was due to our room being located right at the end which led to the odd shaped layout.

There was one thing which I felt odd was that the front desk and the concierge seemed to be run separately. We had to leave our luggages with the hotel for two nights and upon checking out, we told the hotel staff at the front desk that we would be leaving our luggages at the concierge. We were advised that we have to approach the concierge and it is entirely up to them as to whether they can accept our luggages. Thankfully the concierge did take in our luggages because I can't imagine lugging them all the way to Bath. But honestly, I would think providing such services for guests who are returning to the hotel isn't a bit too much to ask?

Other than, we really enjoyed the hotel mostly for its cleanliness and location.
