Booked as a treat for ourselves this was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The service was faultless and the 'tea' itself was delicate and delicious without leaving you hungry. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful room, the lemon & champagne jam and the excuse to visit Harrods.

Above all the service was impeccable, the staffs were very polite and professional. The variety of tea selection was impressing and the quality was satisfying. However, the pastries were slightly too sugary (or maybe they are just designed for the Brits who have a sweet tooth) otherwise it would have been perfect.

Have just spent a really enjoyable night at the hotel. It is very conveniently located a few minutes walk from both Knightsbridge and Sloane Square, a shoppers delight! The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient. We arrived early and whilst our room was not ready they offered to find us another. We ate lunch and breakfast at the hotel with no complaints, the servings were plentiful. The staff organised dinner at a nearby restaurant for us. Our room was large as was the bathroom, very clean and despite being on 2 corners we barely noticed the noise from the road. In fact it was lovely to see the horses from the local barracks going for their morning exercise. We shall be back and will include in that trip the afternoon tea which looked scrumptious!

Nice venue, comfortable setting. We had booked a travelzoo offer costing £35 instead of £66, service was adequate but while the quality of the tea and food was top notch the quantity unfortunately was not as others have mentioned.
There should be an option for extra food to be served complimentary or for a small charge.
Would recommend but do be aware of the comment above.

Room Tip: ask to seated in the lower tea room it is much more pleasant

Booked on the 2 for 1 travelzoo offer.
There were 6 of us.

The setting was very nice and relaxed. We weren't rushed. The service seemed efficient.
They don't tell you upfront that you can try different teas so do ask for another if you want to try something different.
The food in our opinion was a little on the stingy side especially in the pastry course. The picture on the website looks much better. Also how are 3 people meant to share 4 tiny pastries? My friend noticed that another couple had the same amount of pastries as we had for 3 so perhaps they got our order wrong...... In any case I would have expected at least 2 pastries per person.
This was very different from when we had visited about 5 years ago when there were more delicate pastries served and the food portions seemed more generous.
Not sure we would revisit.

After reading another review on the standard of the Superior Room I felt compelled to agree. Despite receiving emails asking if we would like to upgrade for a nominal charge we felt at the price we were paying and taking into account it is a 5 star hotel in a nice neighborhood we would be fine. Alas the room wasn't up to standard. The bed was against the corridor wall so we heard every movement outside of our room. The bathroom was tiny and did not contain a bath, even though the window was frosted out a nice blind would have given it a more private feel considering it overlooked a road. Having a towel rail directly over the toilet was not very pleasant! The rest of the hotel is beautifully decorated and the location is very prestigious but we were very disappointed with the sad and tired room..... Lastly, do go down for afternoon tea, though we didn't experience it ourselves it did look good - we asked for a tea and coffee tray, delivered by a very friendly member of staff, a lime scaled kettle and sachets of coffee/tea and sugar without a biscuit in sight was a tad disappointing.

Visited the Cadogan for afternoon tea. Very nice hotel and the tea was very tasty. However when we received our bill it was a lot more than we expected, I explained to the waitress that we had booked online for a discounted offer, the bill was then changed and also asked for the optional 12.5% to be removed. Not sure if I would return to the Cadogan again :(
