This is one of the worst hotels i have been in. My hubby and i stayed for 7 days in July. The only good thing about this place is its location. As we entered the reception area, the staff on duty( a man) was so cold and un-welcoming. He looked like he was bored with his job and couldnt care less. the first thing that we noticed as soon as we left the reception area, was that the place had a wierd anticeptic smell trying to hide a more creepy smell. the whole place smelt like dirt! The rugs were old and worn. My goodness, i thought someone was playing a joke on us or something. when we got our assigned room, we noticed the room was not what we had payed for months ago online. on calling the attention of the reception staff, he assured us we were mistaken and tried to convince us. he didnt succeed but we were too tired to argue with him. Two days later, we met another pleasant lady at the reception. when we complained again about the rooms, she patiently looked through their records and confirmed we had been assigned wrong rooms. she immediately remedied the situation and assigned us new rooms.
Despite the upgrade to another rooms the smell of dirt and cockroaches still overwhelmed the cheap anticeptic "whatever" trying to get rid of it. the bath tub toilet and sink all had stains. It was obvious they had not been changed in a long time! Our main worry while in this hotel, was catching an infection! I could go on and on but i will stop here. Just stay off this place!

Stayed at this hotel last minute half board as the storm damage cancelled the trains. It's a big hotel in a lovely location. On the seventh floor with lovely view. Room was massive great tv really nice beds and lovely bathroom. Heard the trains but not to noisy. Cavery was closed so got three course meal with stay. Service in pizzeria was pretty slow and the girl serving forgot to ask for our drinks order and it took till the main course to get any water. Receptionists were good. Didn't use the spa. Due to price location and rooms I would come back to this location next time in in london

Staff in the hotel was really nice. The hotel itself is ok, but need some improvement. Spa and swimming pool need upgrading. We had kgb deal for 2 nights, so it was value for money.
Breakfast was slow tho. Everything else, was ok.

If you fancy a super London break there is no better place to stay than the International. The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel ozzed character although a little tired in places we will be staying there again and would also recommend it to our friends and family. The breakfasts were fantastic and the evening meals excellent. The Hotel's location could not have been better as it was in the midst of Canary Wharf, near to the tube and DFR with so much to see and do nearby. We will certainly be going to this hotel on our next London break.
