We came here for a hen party! The outside of tgd hotel looks great in a good location but overalls the inside the rooms are very basic and seem unchanged since prob the 70s!
The rooms are very very very basic and need an obvious revamp.
The breakfast is very good, and you can help your self to as much as you want!
So to sum up good location, good breakfast, not great rooms but ok to literally put your head on to a pillow and body to bed.
Cheap and kinda cheerful!

Stayed in a triple room. We arrived and the first thing I noticed was a sign which asked guests to exscuse the apperance of the hotel and that they were in the middle of refurbishment. The sofas were very shabby and some of the chairs had holes and stuffing coming out of them. When we entered the room was so hot and stuffy. The bathroom was horrible didn't look very clean and was in need of a new bathroom suite. Poor beds and the mattreses covered with blancets under the sheets I didnt dare to look! The staff barely spoke English. Great location but other than that very disapointing. Avoid at all costs. I will not be returning.

Please just don't go here!
It's terrible.
you're better off on a bench in the park then here!
Mold in the rooms, really cold, no heating.
We had 2 rooms and we were only there for 2 nights.
there was gum on the furniture, the tiles were broken in the bathroom...
we are never coming back here...

- We bookend the room a few months online but, upon arrival, the receptionist told usthat hotel is completely full and we have to move to another hotel about 50 minutes away by underground. Our problem was solved only due to insistence on our rights because after 30 minutes of debate, the room "miraculously" appeared.
- Rooms – small, smelling, very hot, no air conditioning, very dirty windows and curtains, bad beds
- Shower system is poor with blocked drain waste
- Dinning room very small and too crowded, no continental breakfast, notablecloths
- No help from desk staff (staff could do nothing for improving care ? )
- Reception staff could hardly speak English
- No more next stay here !

+ Hotel is close to underground and Hyde Park

Room Tip: Corner rooms are very hot. Other room I do not know.

Avoid this place. Old, tired, run-down - awful. We stayed there 3 days and moved. No air - con and no fan, hot and stuffy. One small, dingy elevator. Was so happy to get out and leave. We booked on-line and when we tried to cancel they advised us we couldn't because in small print on-line it said "non refundable rate". We tried to cancel 3 months before arrival as they couldn't accommodate a day's add on, and they still wouldn't do it. They were going to charge us the full rate. BE CAREFUL. Not only will they take your money if you have to cancel, the place is a DUMP anyway. STAY CLEAR.

Room Tip: I doubt there are any. Just stay elsewhere.

We stayed here for a rare weekend away, arrived to a flood situation and had to be moved for 1 night to a much nicer hotel, shame we couldn't have stayed there for both nights. Bayswater hotel is decrepid, the photos do not reflect the true run down style of the hotel, holes in reception furniture and rooms that are cramped, smell of damp, are extremely hot, accompanied by showers and baths that either don't work or are made for midgets. I am only 5ft 3 and could only sit up in the bath as my feet reached the end. I have stayed in a lot of average hotels over the years in city's of the UK and Europe, this is not average and is extremely overpriced. Staff are off hand and not welcoming or understanding when people complain either, the result of my complaint a discount on my next stay - not in a million years!

Room Tip: stay elsewhere!

Stayed for one night, we had a triple and twin room. Both rooms were very hot but clean. The sink and shower did not drain very well. Rooms were very dark as not much natural light from the windows. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very busy, no table cloth on tables, packed in like sardines in a can. The corridors need some TLC also the sofas in reception could be replaced, very ripped and tatty looking. If you are just needing a bed for the night this place serves its purpose.
