The website suggests that a visit here can be done in about 90 minutes, which is farcical. The problem - and it’s a good problem- is that there’s just too much too see and absorb in one visit. In particular, the Churchill Museum within the War Rooms is absolutely packed with multi media displays. I reckon you can’t do justice to that in less than two hours. Then there’s the actual rooms themselves and the numerous exhibition cabinets with utterly compelling and very detailed accompanying information. The audio guide is excellent, very helpful. I think the best way to see this attraction is to pay two separate visits, one to the Museum and another to the War Rooms. Even if you could spend a whole day here, you’d be mentally exhausted well before you saw everything. It’s like trying to do the Hermitage in St Petersburg all in one go, ie Mission Impossible. But it’s one of the very best curated museums I’ve been to in recent years.

We were there shortly after the museum opened on a Sunday morning. The line was short, and there was little waiting. The audio guide was very necessary for the experience. I believe it's included with admission. The war rooms themselves are very interesting. It was an eye opening look at what life was like down there. The museum on Churchill was very enlightening. It covers the entirety of his life, but of course, the main focus is the WWII years. This place is definitely worth a visit.

The Churchill War Rooms transport you back to the WWII and is an amazing time capsule that provides a small glimpse into working conditions of this command centre.

Absolutely loved visiting this fascinating place. After a short queue we were quickly in, and exploring this historic location. The audio guide was really good and explained well everything you were viewing. It was absolutely fanatic to see such an iconic and important location. The museum within the venue was brilliant with so many original historic items which were all fascinating. Cafe also very good, fast service and happy staff. Prices high but as expected for such a location.

Overall: Highly recommended, a wonderful and interesting historically important location to visit.

A great experience of the reality of these war rooms. Preserved as they were with excellent informative support material. A great time to be had wandering the displays in the underground corridors.
