Went to the Planetarium with my school. Was absolutely amazing, I was surprised how good the lady was that talked us through and the seats that go back are so comfortable. A really enjoyable experience would definitely recommend and go again.

Well its all here. Maybe young ones might not see the attraction, but there are things for all ages, and I'm sure they will love the 'space' exhibitions. Great walk up the hill to the site, and you can do this aspart of a day out. Allow at least 90mins. Also loved the fact there's loads of open space, which is not the typical London experience.

This is a very interesting and educational museum. Also, the trip up the Thames to Greenwich is well-narrated. Additionally, the Cutty Sark is located here.

The Royal Observatory and Planetarium are interesting but we have been to the planetarium in Torun, Poland this year and the children have also been to the Copernicus museum in Warsaw. Both were more 'fun' and hands on. I'm glad we went and, of course, we have the special photos of the Meridian line which, judging by the queue of people, is definitely everyone's highlight.
If you go, stay until dark. The green laser beam, showing the meridian line was definitely worth seeing along with the views of Canary Wharf, the O2 Arena and Greenwich itself.
