“Veggie roast dinner disappointing”
Reviewed February 9, 2014 via mobile

Thought a 'veggie roast dinner' would include some nut roast and veggie gravy (for £11!) but it was literally a plate of veg and beef gravy with beef in it. If you are trying to cater for veggies and serve traditional English grub, familiarise your chef with how the word 'veggie' is interpreted (vegetarian). Such a shame as it was cooked well and he is no doubt a great chef. My husband was more than happy with his all day breakfast!

“bigger burger ever”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

this a typical english pub where you can have beer and meal as well. I'm not an expert with english cusine but this looks lot like american food even if you can have fish and chips of meat cakes and other. Good meat, and the terry tucker must be done. If you finish the triple burger in 20 mins it's for free! I did and I'm proud of my picture in the wall of fame. many choices for for and prices under the average.

“Nice place for an English breakfast”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

When I'm in England I like to start the day with an English breakfast and the Pride of Paddington had one of the better English breakfasts I've had in London when you take the price into consideration. It also proved to be a nice place to have a beer in the evening. So well worth a visit if you are in the Paddington area.

“Good pub food”
Reviewed January 9, 2014 via mobile

We stopped here because it looked like a non-tourist pub and was practically full of people. I ordered the beef and ale pie. It was very good and filling. Family members had fish and chips and a burger. All commented that the food was better than expected. The blokes next to us were obviously enjoying a pint and boys night out. They were friendly and the service was a bit slow but pleasant. I would recommend for dinner and a real pub experience.

“Cozy, good beer, great service”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

This seems to be a very popular location, the clientel is mixed, which I like about British Pubs. The service was great and food to our satisfaction. It's just a great place to sit, drink and talk or just people watch.
