“Great location - Fab Hotel with lots of extras in the price”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

London hotels don’t come cheap but I would positively recommend this hotel for location, food, décor and staff. We booked the Rembrant as we wanted to stay overnight in London as a treat for our daughters birthday. Our visit started well as we were able to check in early. We had adjoining rooms which we were pleased with. The contemporary furnishing and size of the accommodation was fantastic. The hotel had left a bottle of red wine for the birthday girl so that was an extra nice touch. The whole hotel was relaxing and charming. The staff were very helpful but not overbearing. This hotel is in the heart of Knightsbridge just by Harrods. After our evening out we had some lovely cocktails in the hotel lounge. I was impressed by the well stocked hot and cold buffet breakfast which was included in the price (and yummy) as well as tea and coffee facilities in the room plus a 12 o’clock check out which most hotel’s would charge extra on top of the rate. Thus making this hotel very good value for money. All in all none of us could fault this hotel for anything apart from we did not want to leave. The hotel host lot of other facilities that we did not use for example a gym and spa.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the staff, to breakfast where there was loads of choice. I asked for a dirrerent pillow and within 15 minutes the staff came knocking on our door. Everyone was so polite, the location is brilliant, very close to Harrods, Royal Albert Hall, shops I would definatly visit this Hotel again.

The rooms are spacious. Everything was crisp and new. Great neighborhood. Highly recommended. The breakfast included in the price of the room was excellent - lots of choices and the sausage and eggs were delicious.

Fantastic breakfast every morning, walking distance to many tourist locations. Its clean, comfortable, and convenient. I used the underground system to get from the airport to and from this hotel and it was very easy to walk to. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Rembrant (two adults and one child) for four nights at the end of September since we were attending a wedding party that was taking place there. The hotel is definately situated in one of the best locations in London (knightsbridge) and at its doorstep has many London attractions (Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, Natural Museum, Harrods and even Hyde Park), all their members of their staff are excellent, their English breakfast is superb and generally we had a very comfortable stay. So to summ it up, this is a lovely 4 star British hotel situated in a prime location and if you find it at a good price, then definately go for it.

Loved the location and as mentioned by others, walking distance to Harrods and major museums - in fact we walked to Buckingham Palace from there - didn't take too long. 5 minute walk to the underground as well. On initial site of the hotel it looks lovely from the outside but as soon as you exit the lift to the floors it was like walking back in time to the 70s. We had a standard room and were expecting to pay for the area. Room was small and dated with the worst bed I have ever slept in. My husband and I kept meeting in the middle every five minutes - awful roll together. Breakfast was good. And staff pleasant. If you are looking for great location, then this is the place - if you are looking for modern and comfy bed - probably not - unless you upgrade to a bigger/better room - maybe the beds there are better!

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The breakfast quality, service and variety stands out. Also worth mentioning was the cleanliness of the hotel. Our and most rooms are very adequate in size and housekeeping is one of the most thorough l have ever experiences. Recommend this hotel for its excellent location too. Directly opposite the Victoria & Albert museum, Natural History and Science museums (all Free) bus stop, taxi rank and hop off-hop on bus. Around corner is metro. And very quiet to best the best nights sleep after full day. Free internet another bonus.

Room Tip: our room was the lowest standard and was very happy
