Stayed at the London Marriott on a Saturday evening having taken advantage of one of their discounted room deals after winning a meal for two at the hotel in a prize-draw. There was a slight mix-up with the booking that was quickly resolved by the hotel receptionist. The room was well appointed although somewhat small in comparison with other hotels. I don't remember the last time I stayed in an upper-end hotel with a shower curtain. The bed was comfortable and the choice of pillows good.
The breakfast service was somewhat chaotic and rushed on a Sunday morning and far from being tranquil. Based on a self-service buffet concept, the quality of the English Breakfast was somewhat disappointing; I have eaten better quality sausages at a PremierInn.
Would I stay here again, the answer has to be no as the London Marriott has nothing special to offer for the price.More
