Location, location and location! It's on Park lane right next to Oxford. It has the look of a classical English monument. The toilet flush had some issues, but the room service took care of it. Bed was really comfortable. Morning breakfast had a good range or delicacies. Concierge service was of high standards. This was my second visit and I would love to keep the option open for my next stay.

If you want to shop, this hotel is perfect. A very short walk to Oxford and Selfridges & Co et al.
Also, very nice West End locale for upper end shops and a short cab (or walk) to Harrod's. And, for the location, the underground is very convenient! As far as other 'tourist' attractions, I would give shopping, pubs, and restaurants this location as it's number one value, but you are short cab and bus rides to all the biggies, Tower, Eye, Westminster, Big Ben...and walks to Hyde, Buckingham, and others.
If you can get a good price, say around 250-300 bucks, take it. Well worth it.
Solid Wi-Fi, great staff, and clean comfortable rooms.
My only knock-slow elevators!

Room Tip: Go for a courtyard view if you wish total quiet, like we had...perfect!

I took a big risk; 20th wedding anniversary. One night only. Train up to London. Top end hotel.... It paid off.

I emailed the hotel ahead and told them of the special circumstances. The receptionist greeted my wife with "happy anniversary" (which the married guys will know, was worth the price of the entire trip to London/dinner/show/hotel) . We had a suite, which by London standards was huge. Windows overlooked, in three directions, the roofs of Mayfair and Oxford Street. We could just imagine Mary Poppins and the chimney sweep bloke, who nobody can remember the name of, dancing among the chimney pots and roof-top gardens.

This was a four star review - minus 1 for the excruciating price (I paid with zillions of points and hundreds of pounds) - but my loyalty, and the extra point, was sealed with a bottle of fizz on ice waiting for us in the room.

Beautiful, thank you.

Room Tip: 5th and 6th floors give the best views over London.

My wife and I traveled to London from the U.S. for the first time last week, and trust me; staying at this hotel makes it easy. The comfortable beds and spacious rooms help to sleep off jet-lag and keep you rested for the duration of your stay. Perhaps the best thing about the hotel is the incredible location. Surrounded by excellent restaurants, you are in walking distance to literally anywhere you want to go. Take the nice walk through Hyde Park to get to Harrods and the Natural History museum, or walk just a few blocks to the shopping on Oxford Street and the underground Tube system. Trust me, you will not regret staying here, and I have to mention the unbeatable service. Great place for first-time Londoners!

I had several choices for this particular trip, which was primarily business-related. I chose the Marriott Grosvenor Square because of its location and good reviews. I was not disappointed. First, the location is excellent; it's almost central London, right next to Selfridge's and Bond Street, with a Tube station just a few blocks away. The hotel itself is kept-up very well, and the staff is excellent. I am a Platinum member with Marriott, so I also had access to the concierge lounge. The lounge staff there was very attentive and friendly, and the food and beverage selections were great for both the breakfast and evening services.

If you use the Tube to see the sights or travel around London for business, the hotel is right near the Bond Street station, on the Central line. You can pretty much get to anywhere you want to go in London from there. It was also an easy ride to Heathrow on my departure. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in April for two nights . Rooms were nice but small . Window was extremely draughty . The doorman was the rudest I have ever come across . For this alone I would never stay in this hotel again

I thought I was staying at the Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel (a JW Marriott) which I had stayed at a few times previously. Imagine my confusion when I pulled up to this hotel just a few blocks away! Marriott has three properties in Mayfair all within a few blocks of each other so it is easy to be confused. The Marriott London Grosvenor Square Hotel is much more modern than the Grosvenor House Hotel and a little characterless as a result but the service at the front desk was efficient and friendly. My room was small with a view of the courtyard garden but quiet and modern. Bathroom super small but nicely appointed. Ate breakfast at the hotel but skipped the buffet to order a nice omelet ala carte. Great location and a very fair price for the location and the quality of the hotel.
