We stayed at the Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel for 4 nights. The front desk staff is top-notch and were able to get us in our Corner room with a short wait. Room 402 was great - the room was spacious, with a great view of the Square. Very quiet and beds were very comfortable. Forget the hotel restaurant, we stopped for a drink - 5 beers for our group was 51 lbs. Over the top expensive. There is a pub right next doow - The Barley Mow where you can get a reasonable pint of Carlsberg. BEWARE - my purse was stolen at this pub the first night were were there. I had my purse down by my feet at a table and after a pint, the purse was gone. The General Manager was helpful but with no video to view - the purse was long-gone. Even in the nicest neighborhood of Mayfair, you have to be very aware and keep personal items close. The Tube is wonderful and so easy to use, Get a day ticket for 7 lbs and you can ride it all day. Don't waste money on cabs except at night. Highly recommend this hotel -

This is a great hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. I took my family here for a weekend and the hotel served as a great base location for sightseeing. We had dinner at a private table that allowed us a direct view of the kitchen and chefs. My children loved watching them prepare our meal and the staff was very accommodating by allowing them to closely watch. The entire hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room over looking the park and US Embassy.

This hotel is well situated in a pleasant area. My room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfy! The bathroom is fairly small but it has everything you need and is decorated to a high standard. The speaker in there was a nice touch! When I got in late I found chocolates on my bedside and a note wishing me good night. Would definitely stay here again!

A lovely weekend away, lovely atmosphere. Hotel is beautiful, amazing room, amazing shower. Loved the bath...so deep but why so small? intrigued!! a super time away with friends. Would stay again. We ate in gordon ramseys for breakfast, enjoyed it, would recommend scrambled eggs and smoke salmon.

We stayed at this hotel for seven nights and we could not be happier with the time spent there, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The front of house team were outstanding and are the difference between an ordinary stay and an outstanding one. The doormen, porters, concierge, front desk staff were all great, we did not meet one who was not pleasant to deal with.

Then the back of house team were just as good, nothing was too much trouble; and they always greeted you when you passed them in the corridor. The rooms were always in immaculate condition and a pleasure to retire to each night. We were on level 3 and it was quite and noiseless, a great sleep each night.

The location of the hotel is its best attribute, right near Oxford Street and the Bond Street Underground, heaps of shopping, restaurants, sights within easy reach and access to all the things tourists want to see. A great location and a great hotel - what more could you want ? Make sure you eat at their restaurant, Maze, as it too is outstanding. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at the Marriot Grosvenor Square on 12 and 13 October, the hotel has the most perfect location with the larger well known shops just a few minutes away, Selfridges being the closest.

We were welcomed at reception by the lovely Aileen Gilani, she explained all the hotel facilities and nothing was too much trouble, a great start to our stay. We booked a standard room and based on other comments on trip advisor asked for it to be on the 5th floor and overlooking grosvenor park, this was an excellent choice as the room was extremely quiet, I can highly recommend room 505 for piece and quiet.

We ate in the Maze grill on the first night having already reserved a table through Top Table, the restaurant didn't dissapoint, completely brilliant and a must for all London visitors, I can honestly say that the Fillet steak was the best I have ever had.

Our only dissapointment was the turn down service in the evenings as our room was missed both nights, we were also dissapointed with the rather small bar area which seemed to be just for restuarant clients, surely a hotel of this size needs a more central bar? Fortunatly there were some good local pubs close by so we had our pre dinner drinks and night caps there.

Having said all of that we really enjoyed the hotel, all staff were friendly and its location is first class.

Room Tip: For a pieceful nights sleep stay on the 5th floor overlooking Grosvenor Square, rooms 505 or 506 wil...
