“tiny little room shame about shower”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Choose this hotel by the price, £90 B&B on saturday nigth in central london go for it.
Really quiet location 5min by walk to Victoria Station.
Lovely hotel. Had a single room on the 4th floor no lift ( but for 1 night not a lot of lugage) was really nice.
Cleanless of the bathroom could be better, some black mark around the shower.
Sunday morning breakfast was ok. Served on really tiny room with quite a quick service, because I served myselfh a coffee than go to thew buffet to take some food, when I came back to my table my coffee was clear away, pretty impressive.
Then when I went to take a shower no pressure. Phone reception coudn't do anything. Shame...
Apart that I will go back as budget hotel is quite nice.

The room was the smallest room I have ever seen on the 4th floor without a window or a lift to the floor.

On checking in and heading out for the day we discovered on our retutn that a member of staff had painted the room due to the smell. I informed reception and he said its quick dry paint and didnt require any wet paint signs on the wall.

We refused to stay in a room due to the smell and was then swapped to another room on the same floor.

The hotel room was disgusting hairs all in the beds and it was flithy. Also there is no hot water and WIFI as advertised. I would never stay here again and the family that run the place are so rude.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in a different hotel, that is the best option!

We had a good time while we were in London. Very good location to the underground and the the train to Gatwick. The staff has been very nice and helpsome during our stay. We had a wonderful view to the London Eye from our room.

We visited this hotel for 4 Nights and enjoyed it very much. The location was perfect for daily trips for sightseeing and the are a lot restaurants nearby for having lunch and dinner. Breakfast is standard and not very special not so much variety but okay to start the day. The rooms were modern and cleaned very good every day. Only during the nights it was a bit too hot but there was a fan we used a lot. Sadly we couldn't turn off the heating. Allin all we would definately recommend this hotel.x

We stayed here for one night, and we could not fault it,
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and also very helpfull.
We stayed in room 101 on the first floor, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable mattress, it had tea/coffee making with plenty of everything, free wifi, and A/C, in one word very comfortable.
The shower /toilet/room was on the small side, and so was the bedroom, but for us it was ample for what we paid.
The breakfast was continental, 4 types of cereal, fruit juices, fruits salad, cheeses toasts jams and marmalade, the dining room itself was basic, but clean.
All in all a good stay.

We paid £100 for a double room (rack rate is £210 !!!), if this was anywhere else in the country anything over £45 would be a rip-off.

Good things: Decent quality mattress; generally clean & recently refurbished rooms (not our bathroom though); tea & coffee facilities; hair drier; 24 hour reception; close to Victoria train/tube/coach stations.

Bad things: UNUSABLE shower (less water pressure than being peed on by a small rodent & impossible to keep at a constant temperature); Leaking sink taps resulted in constant dripping noise through the night; no towel holder; toilet roll holder barely attached to the wall; Wi-Fi didn't work; windows didn't close properly; view outside was a brick wall 8 inches away; breakfast.

Breakfast was stressful - there are tables & chairs for 40 people (yes I counted) crammed into a small basement room and there were still people stood around waiting for somewhere to sit down (I'm sure there aren't that many rooms in the hotel but people just kept coming) so it was virtually impossible to get to the mediocre breakfast bar. We ended up giving up trying to eat and went somewhere else.

It seems to me that they've tried to cram as many rooms/people into a not-very-big building and it results in a terrible experience for all. The only reason my review is not 'terrible' is because I have, believe it or not, stayed in worse places.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else. Do not stay here if you have trouble climbing stairs, there are lots of them. 4th...

Was good the bathroom could have been alittle bigger. Breakfast was very good. The room could have been more spacious. We were not able to open the bedroom window for fresh air. The Hotel is located very central. Very good in general.
