Clean rooms, not very spacious but that didnt matter to us. good choice of food, good service. Breakfast was delicious. Friendly staff and great location, we were made to feel very welcome. What more could you wish for!

This is the first time my wife & I have stayed at a Thistle Hotel and we were not dissapointed.
We were made to feel very welcome and reception staff were happy to check that everything was to our satisfaction, which it was.
The executive room was very spacious and cleanliness was second to none. We could not fault it.
Due to a mistake on our part, bathrobes were not supplied in our chosen room. However, the kind receptionist had two sent to our room anyway.
The only negative point about the whole experience was that, although the choice of breakfast was excellent and well presented, with staff offering assistance at every oportunity, I feel their hotplates require either turning up or replacing, as most of our tasty breakfast was not as hot as it could have been, even though the food was brought out fresh at regular intervals.
Overal though, a very satisfactory stay and very convenient for the sights, shopping and theatre land.
We will return at some stage to this hotel.

Room Tip: The larger executive rooms have a fantastically huge comfortable bed.

We stayed here with friends for 2 day last April!
The booking in was easy, staff pleasant and helpful and we had our room upgraded to a queen free of charge!
Not the clearest view from our room but we could see the London eye which looked lovely at night!
The beds were comfortable and clean and nice furniture.
The breakfast had plenty of choice and was filling and tasty!
We'd definitely stay again!
We travelled with friends as couples.

My wife and I used this hotel for a weekend break. It's perfectly positioned. Many of the tourist sites are within walking distance including Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace Convent Garden etc and it's also in the heart of theatre land. The rooms were spotless if small but you're not going to be spending much time in your room! The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was ok. All in all a nice hotel to use as a base.

Arrived Friday PM to a very warm welcome on a very cold afternoon. Every member of staff had their eye on the ball all weekend. All where happy to greet you and offer assistance. The building was extremely clean and everything was in its place, unlike a very shabby Travelodge that we used a short time ago in Kings Cross that charged us about the same fee. Both resturant and bar on site and although the menu was not outstanding we hve to say the food was really good. The location was brilliant, Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery out of the front door and turn left, Picadilly Circus and Liecester Square turn right. China Town, Theatre land and Covent Garden all within a very short walk. We would certainly use this hotel again and would recommend you do too!!
PS. I have marked sleep quality as very good and not as excellent. This is purely due to Police activity around London on Saturday night and does not reflect on the hotel in any way.

Room Tip: I doubt there is a bad room!!!
