Great location, directly from Airport using Piccadilly Circus line, 3 minutes walking distance to the Hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great price for that location. Will definitely book it again next time.

Room Tip: It's located in a side street, so don't expect a good view even asking for higher floors.

Booked this hotel mainly because of location and ease of getting back from Queens Theatre with my daughter safely, but thoroughly pleased with everything really. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, a basic double, was warm and welcoming and provided everything we needed. View wasn't up to much but didn't really go there to look out of the window. (I have never been offered a free upgrade and often wondered how that happens.) Bed was comfortable, towels smelt fine!?, - would have liked a dressing gown though. Air-con worked - hey! stayed in lots of 5 star hotels in London and either rooms have been too hot or too cold regardless of how we adjusted the air-con or it didn't work at all. We were tempted to eat in hotel as menu looked good but got hungry when we were out. The cafe opposite was a little bonus though, - we went there for breakfast and there was also a little shop selling snacks and drinks which was handy. The location was perfect, - just a few steps to Trafalgar Square and excellent for Bond, Oxford and Regents Streets. Perhaps we are easy to please but couldn't really fault our stay.

We need to make a scandal to get the plugged sink fixed in our room. The informed staff at the desk does nothing for a full 5 hours, or if something was done, we got no feedback.
After 6 hours, we start putting on the pressure.
Different people are sent to the room to look at the problem, none of them to fix it. Hours later and after raising a ruckus, an engineer (?) comes to the room with no tools, turns the faucets on and off for a few minutes, and then pretends that the sink is fixed. Testing the result in his presence, it is still just as plugged.
After confronting the engineer with the result, he finally decides to go get his tools (2 minutes), comes back and fixes the plugged sink in 2 more minutes flat.
Conclusion: The technical issue actually took five minutes to solve. As guests, we have had to replace an obvious lack of professional management presence.

Room Tip: If you want to get something done here, immediately make a scandal. They may then heed your reques...

London hotels are so often poor value and unreliable. In general this experience was just about fine. Its a medium size hotel in a great location. The room was furnished in a modern way and spacious. The bathroom was small and pokey with rusted radiator and plumbing that was very noisy. The bath towel were awful - its clear they are dry cleaned and absolutely stank of dry cleaning solvent. In fact after dryin off one needed a shower again to get rid if the smell. Ironically the hotel has bland signs about 'laundry' - if only they had been laundered! The breakfast was very good and staff overall were exceptionally helpful.

I stay at this hotel on business on a regular basis. The hotel has undergone a significant refurbishment over the last 18 months or so and most if not all rooms and en suites are of a high standard of fit out. This however is nw reflected in the room rate. Upon arrival I was treated to a free upgrade and if this is available its well worth taking as some f the rooms can be a little compact even for a double room. The air conditioning can occasionally be a little tempremental and during my stay this week I had to contact reception to get it fixed. Breakfast is a buffet service and the choice is generous. Overall the hotel is comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly. Checking in or out at peak times can be a slow process - make use of the express service to avoid queuing. Given I tend to stay here quite often I can Bly recommend it to others. It is centrally located just a few yards from Leicester Sq and Trafalgar Sq and a few minutes from the tube.

Had a two night trip planned to London and had been looking for a hotel at a reasonable price, the thistle Trafalgar come up, looked nice and was central and 2 mins to soho for bars and clubs, 5 mins to buckingham palace. When we arrived staff were helpful and friendly. We got a free upgrade to a business room, everything was clean, bathroom nice, really liked the shower, no bath but this does not matter to me. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that.

I did take us a few extra minutes to find the place, but overall one of the best hotels I have stayed in London.

Stayed here for one night on Saturday 22nd September. What a find! I can honestly say that the wife & I (as well as the friends we travelled with) have found a hotel that we will use time and time again. From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive and were always polite and friendly. Our standard room was nicely decorated, had a lovely comfortable bed and very clean.

Breakfast in the morning was superb, a help yourself buffet with enough of everything you could need (in our case a nice big fry up to soak up the over indulgance of the day before!). Again, courteous staff and attentive service.

The location of the hotel is excellent for anybody who wants to be close to the variety of West End shows that London has to offer. We passed a number of theatres whilst walking around, all within 5 or 10 minutes leisurely stroll of the hotel. The number of bars, clubs, theatres, restaurants on your doorstep is incredible, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left we never took a tube anywhere as everything we needed was right on our doorstep. And yet, quite surprisingly, this hotel manages to keep itself tucked away down a quiet little street allowing for a good nights sleep.

All in all a good find and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to family and friends. The wife & I are going to see Les Mis next year and The Royal Trafalgar will surely be our hosts once again. Many thanks.
