Very good hotel with a kitchen corner in the room, no carpets ( for me that´s great ), good size for the studio and bathroom ( I was alone - for a coupple take a king size bed ). The only thing I didn´t like was the bathtub ( dangerous ) and the size of the TV ( small ). The location is fantastic, walking distance to many places, and between 2 stations of the tube ( I had to go to Excel twice and it was really easy ).

I have stayed there during WTM 2012 for our business trip with team, we booked room for 3 persons found that room a little bit small for us. We paid daily rate anyhow they clean room everyday but not change our blanket which many hotel in Thailand do it and we a bit disappointed for thier less choice of breakfast but all hotel staff we met are so nice and take care.

As most posters have reported, the location of this apartment hotel is outstanding as it is in the heart of this buzzing and exciting city. Checked in Oct 31/12. The front desk staff member was a very attentive and pleasant young man from Spain who took time to show us two rooms and allowed us to pick the best one that suited our needs, and this was done before the regular check in time. There were vacancies so they were most welcoming and helpful. Their lobby is minimalist but nice and they have great magazines to read, umbrellas to use if you need to step out on a rainy day. This was a nice touch. The room chosen was a double bed room facing Northumberland Street. The kitchen was adequate and the fridge served a good purpose. The two issues I encountered were with the lighting and bathroom design- the lighting was too dim and even with all the lights lit, the room was dark and the dark coloured walls made it seem very gloomy. Now, the bathroom was even worse, with a poorly designed bathtub, which had a drastically sloping surface and insufficient space to use the shower effectively. Also, the faucet in the sink was too short which did not allow you to wash your hands with ease. The breakfast is extremely expensive and I would advise that you not bother with the offering given the many options available around this area. All in all an OK hotel but they really do need to amp up on the lighting and pay attention to the bathroom design issues.

Stayed over a long weekend (4 nights) Thursday to Sunday at the newly refurbished Citadines Trafalgar Square. Stayed in a nice adequate (but minimalist furnished) one bedroom suite with kitchenette. To be fair, it had all the essentials fixtures required, including pots, pans, plates, wine glasses and cutlery. The furniture is neat but spartan - nonetheless practical.

Continental Breakfast was included and like most other things in the hotel, it achieved its purpose, to feed the guests, nothing more, nothing less. Coffee, tea, toast, croissants, fruit, jams and juices were included.

The location of this hotel is superb. Just off Trafalgar Square, the Strand, Covent Garden, the London Eye and Soho. Shopping on Oxford street is a fifteen minute walk.

Like all central London Hotels, the rack rates are high. Best become an E member of Citadines on line, it is free and gives you a discount.

It was a good overall experience, clean, friendly with accommodating staff. I would rate this a medium class hotel but I would recommend it. It has everything a tourist requires and its location is hard to beat.

My wife & I stayed at the Citadines Prestige Trafalgar for 5 night in Sept 2012 as part of our UK vacation. The hotel is perfectly located in central London, a stone's throw from Trafalgar Square and within walking distance of Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's, Covent Garden and more. It's also incredibly convenient for the Tube, located very close to both the Embankment and Trafalgar stops, which combine to give you quick access to pretty much everything you probably want to see.

Despite being so central and the fact our window looked out onto Northumberland Rd, the room was very quiet. Moreover, our room (a studio) was comfortable, modern and perfectly clean. For two people, the space was perfect and provided us with a microwave, sink, refrigerator, hob/stove and a counter we could sit at to eat breakfast each morning. There was even a mini-dishwasher along with a supply of detergent. The room could have stood to have more utensils/dishes, but it was enough to get by.

The only problem with the room was the bathroom. Although spacious, it was only barely functional. The shower's pressure was very low, and the tub was so high off the floor that stepping out of the tub was practically a controlled fall. Additionally, the flat area at the bottom of the tub was oddly narrow, making you keep your feet close together and feeling unstable.

Additionally, the toilet was very weak and often required 4 to 5 flushes to handle even minimal amounts of toilet tissue. We couldn't understand why such a nice, modern hotel would have such poor toilets. Regardless, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel or recommend it to others as long as they don't have mobility issues (which would cause problems with the shower).
