This was a lovely hotel. Only 3 or 4 minutes walk from nearest tube station, pleasant views from high floors. Staff very pleasant and helpful on desk and in restaurant. Lovely food, both dinner and breakfast. Meal deal good value for London. A little way out from Centre of London - just under 20 minutes on the tube to London Victoria - but price reflects this. Very happy.

Room Tip: Ask for view over the Thames!

Stayed here for three nights in Room 805.

On the plus side, everything was very clean and very well maintained. The front of house staff could not have been more helpful or friendly.

Minor negatives were the small and rather ancient TV, a toilet seat that would not stand up and stay in place, and rather low water pressure.

Big annoyances, and the reason for only three stars, was the noise.

First, there was the noise from the traffic. This is a very noisy part of London and the hotel sits in a tower that rises up above this noise, so that the noise comes from all directions without any obstacles. In Room 805, the outer window is permanently jammed open, with a foam filler to allow (I guess) air into the gap between the outer window and the secondary glazing. However, in doing this, there is no real noise barrier and the secondary glazing is not up to the job of cutting down noise.

Then there were the students. Lots of Italian students. I have nothing against Italians or students but I have a problem when a hotel (who must have known that this was a large booking for lots of students) books the students in rooms all over the hotel. This resulted in kids running around the corridors as they went between one anothers' rooms. After we had gone to bed, a party started in the next door room. We hammered on the wall and things quietened down. However, the noise intensity soon rose and evidently the residents of another room complained because someone came to quieten the room and get kids back to their appropriate rooms. This, sadly, didn't last long. At 01:30 we rang down to reception and insisted that they did something about it. They duly did, and this time the peace lasted.

When a hotel books in student groups, it needs to put them all together on the same floor(s) with teachers also staying in amongst those rooms.

Good Sleep? Absolutely not. Still waiting to find out whether Premier Inn will honour their Good Night Guarantee.

Having stayed in the hotel (2/4/12) for a night I was pleased with the service me and my mate received. The staff were helpful in information about meal times and car parking arrangements, not to mention they were friendly and positive, we were happy to leave the staff a tip after we had our meal. Would recommend staying here I know if I go to London again I will be. Very ideal location with the tube station literally around the corner.

I stayed in the Hammersmith PI in March 2012. Very friendly, welcoming place. Everything works! Breakfast excellent. Children very welcome, but place is still very peaceful. Great location, Ravenscourt tube 1 min. Room was small, OK for short visit (3 days); but any longer than that I would have asked for a larger room if possible. I would go back when in London again.

Room Tip: I was on main road side of hotel and had no problems with noise.

Good location
Nice & clean
Good service
Only negative is it would be better if it had an adjoining pub rather than the little room that comprises bar & resturant ( but I guess there wasn't the room to do so). Overall very good!

This was my first time staying at this particular Premier Inn, but the warm welcome I received upon arrival far out-matched that of previous Premier Inns I'd stayed at!
The room I had was very, very small in comparison to other PI's, and the single beds had been pushed together, due to the small space...but the room was very clean and well maintained, as usual for PI's..
The hotel is well positioned for walking to the HMV Hammersmith Apollo (approx 15 minutes stroll away), and I didn't feel unsafe doing this walk alone gone midnight...
Its also ideal to use as a base to venture into central London, as there are 3 mainline stations nearby - with Ravenscourt Road station being the nearest (about 5 mins away).
The only other niggles I had (apart from the small room size), were small things...only one chair in the room (when it was a twin, so one of us had to perch on one of the beds)...noisy students running up and down the corridor...no double glazing (so let road noise etc in)...and was woken up one night by the couple next door having sex! Haha - yeah, the walls are PRETTY thin!!! :D :D And the car park is TINY!!!
Apart from these minor gripes, this hotel offers a great location for getting out and about in London, and is brilliant for going to the Hammersmith if you've a gig on (like I had)...and the attitude of the staff makes up for these moans too - they're all really friendly and helpful and were genuinely interested in what I had been doing that day etc. I'd definately use the Hammersmith Premier Inn again - its just a shame the small room etc dulled the shine on what would have been my best Premier Inn stay to date!
