Nearly dont want to review this is such a little gem.A great place for a coffee and a treat, big sofas to sit and read the paper and gather your thoughts, only down side a little pricy but all treats are!

Difficult to see what this place was from the outside. But glad we went in- not cheap, but it is London! So, £27 for 2 Croque Monsieurs, 2 cakes & a tea and a coke is about right. Cakes beautiful, service v good! Shabby chic!

The cakes look delicious and taste almost as good as they look but £18 for two cakes and tea was horrendously overpriced, even for London! I don't think I will go back.

Went for breakfast last Sunday. I paid £8 for a juice, coffee and croissant. The food was OK, the service from the waiting staff was pleasant but the atmosphere was so unpleasant. Naff pop music radio station in the background, industrial cartons of cakes unceremoniously carried through the cafe to the delivery van outside, coffee served in a mug rather than one of the delicate cups on display and the confections on display were aged and tatty. It was cold in the cafe so the waiter kindly closed the front doors for us but they were opened again. I asked once again for them to be closed but the waiter said the manager told him to keep them open so people could see the place was open. When I told the manager it was cold he said it wasn't (oh really? this customer obviously doesn't know anything). He didn't apologise and sarcastically wished me a good day. Now, I understand they need all the trade they can get. This cafe is not a 'destination' venue because it doesn't come up to scratch so it has to rely on passing trade, hence having the doors open.

Worst value food in London. £11 for a takeaway croque monsieur and orange juice? Laughable pricing. Disgusting way to treat people. Do not go there.
