“Best Premier Inn I have stayed in!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

Booked this hotel due to its low cost, for a London weekend break, I usually stay at the Premier Inn in Kenton! Hanger Lane Premier Inn came up cheaper, it was actually easier to make our way into London from this hotel, it is literally 2 mins from Hanger Lane Tube station and straight into London on the Central Line, about a 15-20min ride! Its the nicest Premier Inn I have stayed in, we had a room next door to our friends, it was very large, bright and airy, overlooking Wembley, it consisted of a dressing table with 2 double sockets, lamp, chair, double bed, 2 bedside cabinets, light switches that switch off all lights, single pull out bed at side of double bed and across the room was another single bed, wardrobe space, shelves, mirrors, tv on wall bracket and tea/coffee making facilities, choice of firm or soft pillows. Bathroom was spotless with bath/shower, soap and showergel, towels. Aircon was lovely to come into at night as it was a very hot weekend when we stayed!! I asked for extra duvet to put over mattress as I always find their beds hard, these were delivered promptly, checkin was easy and the reception guy was very helpful and stood by us while we checked in, he asked if we needed anything and told us what time breakfast was served! Huge carpark although we didn't use it. Locked door to main corridors accessed by room key, lifts to upper floors. Even though we were on the front of the hotel on a main road, we didn't hear a sound from in or out of the hotel, very very quiet. We ate breakfast both days, £8.95 for adult, and child eats free. Quite busy on Saturday & Sundays, but waitress soon cleared us a table, lots of choice, fruit, yoghurts, cereal, toast, couissants, bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, hash brownies, tomatoes, orange juice, apple juice, milk, tea, coffees etc, all lovely! The only complaint I had, was we ordered 2 amaretto liqueour coffees one night before bed, they just gave us black coffee with amaretto in, no cream or anything, they said they had ran out of cream, and gave us a jug of cold milk instead!!!! They did only charge us for the amaretto though!! Hardly anything to complain about though. Will definitely use this hotel again when staying in London, and would recommend to anybody thinking of staying at a Premier Inn, you will get 2 nights here for the same price as 1 night in Central London and only 15 mins travelling!! Thanks for a great stay.

Room Tip: Front room overlooking Wembley!

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have previously given it an excellent rating but on this occasion our stay wasnt that good at times but all relating to the in house restaurant. On the 1st evening our food orders were taken we had ordered starters for ourselves and the kids, items started arriving in dribs and drabs, bearing in mind that only 3 tables were full, drinks were ordered and never arrived when reminded they turned up having spent 20 mins sat on the bar getting warm, my wifes steak came without the sauce and no chips as ordered the waiter came back with 6 chips he had found lying around and said they were better as they were tripled cooked, the ordered chips duly arrived 5 mins later by now ive finsihed the kids have gone and still no sauce on the steak. Desserts were ordered all very nice ,just as were finishing the peas and carrots turned up that were missing from the kids meals. In all fairness the manager and waiter apologised for the chaos and we had free drinks and a reduced bill but all we really wanted was our dinner not the ensuing circus. Breakfast was excellent as are the staff who really go the extra mile, sadly the evening debacle continued on a similar vein on the second night, im not sure how it was going so wrong, i think the orders were simply being lost in translation between the restaurant and the kitchen, incidentally we did see other orders going back to the kitchen which did make us chuckle. Still a top hotel tho they just need to watch the small stuff.

It was well worth the money. The room was nicer than I was hoping for. And access to the hotel was easy for me as it was right next to the Central line underground station. And as a side note the staff seemed polite to me throughout the stay.

Very cozy hotel, not the ritz-carlton but you get what you pay for. Rooms were clean, big and spacious, bed was comfortable and service was amazing. Definetly looking forward to stay again if I go back in London!

Goods value for money, most spacious room in London we've been in as a family. Good parking facilities and handy tube station 2 mins away!! We intend to go there again when visiting London. The breakfast was good and the kds enjoyed it.

We had a 5 nights' stay in July 2013, our 4-people family together with other two families, same as ours, for a short holiday in London. The hotel is very close (30 metres) to the tube station of Hanger Lane and 25 minutes' tube trip to central London. Rooms are clean and essentially equipped. The quality of sleep is excellent thanks to a special attention this holtel gives to mattresses and bed equipment. We also had breakfast which was good and with a not bad choice of food, especially cold one. Unfortunately no fresh bread was supplied, nor sliced salami or cheese, but only toast bread. Anyway you could have hot bacon, eggs and sausages, instead.
Very good red fruit salad and mixed fruit salat were always available.
Receptionists and all the staff were very kind and helpful to tourists. We enjoyed this place we staid at for the first time and we would certainly recommend to people who don't want to spend lots of money in hotel but nevertheless wish good service and pleasant stay. Everyone of our group (we were 12 shared into 3 families !) was satisfied with this hotel and would choose it again.

Room Tip: There are standard family rooms and others, very much larger. We suggest to ask for these ones if va...
