We stayed here for two nights over the weekend whilst on business for a conference at the Olympia. The hotel room was great, a nice twist on what could have been a boring room. the staff were very friendly and the mini bar was all complimentary which was great. the only criticism was the terrible live lounge music someone was playing one afternoon in the bar area but other than that a great stay. A great hotel and good value for money. Will certainly stay again.

We liked this hotel, the location was great.......very close to Earls Court underground station. Upon entering the hotel for the first time our reception was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast option was not taken up due to the cost £20 each is excessive! The rooms themselves are impressive, quirky with good quality fitments. On the downside I found the air conditioning far too noisy......and it had to be used as the window opening was restricted! also, although the shower area was glam and big......surely a bath could have been incorporated?, this would have been appreciated after a long walking day around london.

All in all, a step from the norm and a hotel to use for a special occasion with a touch of luxury....but not quite perfect!

I stayed here for my London Trip for 4 nights and I get very pleased by this Hotel. The room was spacious, beautiful decorated and very quiet - and you are in the middle of London, just next to the tube station of Earls Court. I could reach all my destinations from there easily. The Lobby is very welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would love to come back!!!

Having stayed at this hotel when it was part of the Cairn Group (Barkston Gardens) I was excited to return following it's renovation. Wow… This hotel is MAGNIFICENT!

We went down for a 4 night break for my partners birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The reception area is lovely as is the restaurant. Our room was AMAZING… Very clean, very fresh and very unique. Lovely comfy bed, great bathroom and amenities. I loved the bathrobes and complementary soft drinks and nibbles min bar.

Breakfast was delightful and the service we received from our Waitress Piera throughout the stay was magnificent (as was it from all the staff).

A thank you to Emmi as well for all her assistance beforehand.

We shall be returning in January of next year and look forward to another great stay.

Room Tip: We were on the 1st floor and that was awesome

Dear Juni0r_Tea,

It's great to hear that you had stayed at the hotel prior to the renovation and are able to compare what it was to what it is now! As I can see you are thoroughly impressed with the change from Barkston Gardens Hotel to Hotel Indigo London Kensington - Earl's Court.

It's lovely to hear that you enjoyed the room, its facilities, décor and cleanliness. Our housekeeping team have worked very hard to maintain the cleanliness of the bedrooms so it's great to hear it's noticed by our guests.

We are glad to hear you will be returning next year and look forward to welcoming you back.

My husband and I have just spent two days in hotel indigo and could not fault it. We are already thinking of booking our return visit to London and this hotel. As already mentioned by others the location of this hotel is great which meant we found commuting around London so easy, something I was a little concerned about since it was our first time in London.

We were really happy with our room, it was spacious, modern, very clean and the minibar was a lovely touch with free refreshments, a nice surprise upon arrival. Each room has a different colour scheme (ours was teal) and is tastefully decorated with flat screen tv, iPod docking station, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, air conditioning. The bathroom was also clean, modern, with walk in shower and speaker system connected to tv, and aveda shampoo/shower gel etc.

Now where do I start with the staff, the front of house staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The bar staff were also friendly especially Michael who made us feel very welcome, providing nibbles and drinks with a bit of Aussie banter through in for free, it makes all the difference when you can come back to the hotel to a friendly face in the evening.

I can't say enough good things about our trip to London as a whole, there is so much to see and do, everything is so accessible and everyone we met was friendly and helpful, we will definitely be returning to London and to hotel indigo Kensington ! See you soon
Claire and Colin

Room Tip: Room 005 was great, might chance our arm at an upgrade the next time :-)

We started our European vacation in London at Hotel Indigo. It has been recently remodeled, is super clean and modern and has friendly staff. Love the Aveda amenities. Love the free treats in the mini bars. Love how close it is to the Tube station.

What we loved the most was the Mansion Bar and Lord Magic (all the staff are Lords and Ladies....don't read too much into this, but it is amusing). The bartender at Mansion is a genius. No the drinks are not cheap and do not go here is all you want is a beer. The bartender is an artist who makes every drink with attention to detail and great craftsmanship. My birthday beverage was a one of a kind crafted with me in mind and it was magnificent.

We moved on to a more expensive, and very disappointing hotel in Paris. A big part of what made it disappointing was missing the staff at Hotel Indigo!

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Dear CalGirl86,

Thank you for your lovely feedback.

Here at the Hotel Indigo London - Kensington Earl's Court we have set ourselves high expectations when delivering our guest experience, therefore we are very glad to see that Majeic really did deliver exceptional service to your throughout your stay.

I am not sure if you know the story behind the Lord's and Lady titles? I'll give you a quick overview- The hotel is set in the Victorian era due to the history of the building, therefore we have adapted the Victorian theme and the 'lord and lady servants' that existed during that era. So now for all of our guests they will be served by only a Lord or a Lady.

Emmi
