Cannot point out a single flaw in our stay. Loving it so much that I'm writing a review while we're still here. The hotel is fantastically located.. Literally a 30 seconds walk to the tube station and like a zillion restaurants. There's an does,GBK,mc Donald's,burger king,m&s food, you name it!! Trust me when I say my husband and I are super fussy, but this place is brilliant! Rooms are fun and spacious enough, the bathrooms aren't a hole in the wall like other hotels. Very clean, warm and have a lovely feel to them. There's complimentary wifi and minibar!! The staff are brilliant!! Cannot praise them enough.. My husband and I would like to thank Carly and Meisha for being sooooo lovely and accommodating! We had a slight issue with the first room appointed to us, there was no fuss made to change it! Was done in a few seconds! We were given an early check in at 9am! Again no fuss! Amazing breakfast every morning! yummiest hot chocolate and eggs! Stay here! You will not regret it!

Room Tip: If you are light sleepers, make sure you inform these lovely people when your booking the hotel! Tr...

Dear rex6

Thank you for leaving such a great review during your stay at the Hotel Indigo London – Kensington Earl’s Court. I am so glad that you liked the feel of the boutique rooms and the complimentary wifi and mini bar.

I have passed on your kind comments to Meisha and Carly at reception who were delighted. That is great that we could accommodate your early check-in as we understand after travelling it can be tiresome having to wait for your room.

Thank you for recommending the hotel and hopefully see you again soon!

Kind Regards,

Brooke

This is a very nice and non-standardized hotel. Really nice rooms in a classic but very modern stile. Bartrooms are perfect and the beds are quite hard which I like.
A small but fully equipped fitness center adds to the positive side of things. Hotel staff in general very nice and helpful.

Locaction if the hotel is also very good. Small restaurants and pubs within 100 meters from the hotel. Earls Coart tube is also very close and you can just grab a taxi on arls coart road if that is what you prefer.

There are some opportunities for improvements that I want to share with you.
- Internet access is not up to standard in the rooms. You have difficultites if you stay here for work, we was here on vacation so no big deal but the connection is really poor.
- Room temprature is perhaps the biigist issue. One of the rooms we had we could not get the temp. down to comfortable levels over night. It was to warm. Our kids had a room on the ground floor and it was freezingly cold. We tried to get attention from the staff on this but without any sucess.
- You have to leave a key in the room so that the aircon should work but that key was taken away every day by the cleaning staff. So the ground floor rrom was never warm.

It is a pity that these "details" stops Indigo from a top score.

Room Tip: Avoid ground floor!!!

Dear Swedentravel56

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review regarding your recent stay.

I am really pleased that the rooms and bathrooms stood out to you and the service that you received from our employees.

The internet signal in a few of our rooms had been quite weak so we have installed additional boosters to ensure that this is improved. Our IT manager has then checked each room individually to eliminate any signal problems completely.

As we have maintenance onsite we could have looked into any issues with heating. If you would like me to look into this further please let me know some additional details of your stay. fohmanager@hotelindigokensington.co.uk.

Kind Regards,

Brooke

We have travelled in London for an European Cup match of Chelsea, but we took that opportunity for a week-end break in the city.

The hotel turned out to be a gem and we will definitely return even if we'll be in London just for a shopping break. The prices are under the standards of London for the services you get.

The Room: very spacious for the 4 star standards in London, new furniture (which for us is a big plus), lots of tiny things that make your stay great (a radio with iPod output, tea boiler with tea, sound in the bathroom from the tv) and a modern bathroom. The bed is good (although very high) and with a lot of pillows, I had good night sleeps.

The service: everyone tries to make your stay as good as it gets. The girls from the breakfast are so kind and great, also the people from the front desk.

Breakfast: it is a must. you have both buffet and continental breakfast included, with plenty gourmet food. You must try the signature waffles.

Position: the hotel is situated in Chelsea, a superb neighbourhood with British houses, great for walks. Also, the hotel is literally 2 minutes away from the Underground, having a direct line to the centre (about 20 min you are from the hotel). Also, it's a 15 min walk from the Chelsea stadium.

The only thing I can put as a minus is the lack of a media point. You don't have a computer to use, provided by the hotel. Therefore, if you don't have ur device with you to use the free wi fi, you can have a problem. However, the staff was kind enough to help us with the plane on-line checking at the departure.

To sum it up, we searched the internet for the best hotel in this price range and we did not find anything even remotely as good as this one (the London hotels are very expensive and still a little dated and small in the 4 star category, if you don't pay ridiculous amounts for the stay). It is one of the best hotel we ve stayed in Europe, but still with a very good price considering it's good location in London.

Just can't wait for our next visit in London, when we'll surely be back at Indigo.

Dear Loamih,

“A clear 10” what a fantastic review title! Thank you for sharing your stay with us.

The rooms are great and being a brand new Hotel Indigo hotel all the furniture and the refurbishment is very recent so everything is in perfect condition. It is so great to hear that the service really stood out and that you felt that everyone from reception to the restaurant tried to make your stay great that is exactly our aim!

The breakfast is absolutely delicious and we have recently improved our offering on the continental buffet by introducing items such as real honeycomb and madeleine cake.

In regards to the computer use, we have 2 ipads on order for guest use. In the meantime the reception will be more than happy to assist with anything that you need.

Please come back and see us soon!

Stayed there for the Easter holiday 2013, room 502 which was really nice with windows on the ceiling, very modern and colorful decoration. Room is small like anywhere else in London but good enough for a couple, no problem. Very clean and comfortable bed. Location is very good, really close to Earls Court with lots of options of pubs and restaurants, grocery shop, pharmacy, everything within walking distance. Would definitely come back

Dear Amtettamanzy,

We really appreciate our guests taking the time to give us their feedback as it enables us to keep improving. I am thrilled that you liked your room and the spa inspired shower.

That is great that you tried a cocktail, the menu is very extensive so you will need to return to try more! I hope that you tried the waffles for breakfast they are truly delicious.

“Ain’t Nothin But...” is a great blues bar a short distance away that I would definitely recommend so I am glad that you enjoyed it.

We look forward to your next visit.

We had a 2 night break at this hotel. The hotel is lovely, modern, very clean with great decor. The room is spacious, 2 rooms both with Huge TVs, great bathroom with big shower. Bar area which is also where we had breakfast was good, staff excellent particularly helping with our choice of cocktails - which are a must try. We had breakfast on our second morning which was freshly cooked, thanks to the waitress who suggested we also tried the breakfast sweets - yummy. We used the hotel as a base to explore London, spending our Saturday evening in a bar in Soho - Ain't nothin but - this was fantastic, we ended up staying all night, a must visit if you are into music. We will definitely stay here again if visiting London.

Dear Nellu,

So nice to receive feedback from our loyal guests and to hear that you are enjoying each stay more than the last. All the wifi issues have been solved and we are now using a much faster internet provider.

The location really is great and it is a nice stroll into kensington.

You are right the rooms in lower ground are incredibly spacious and quiet and very popular with guests who are staying more than one night and need the extra space!

Kind Regards

This is a very good hotel, in a very good location, close to a subway station, ca. 30 minutes from the main tourist attractions by tube.
Extremely clean, rooms with a very good isolation.
The hotel has a huge amount of details that make it better than other hotels of the same range.
Breakfast buffet could be highly improved for a hotel of this level (in terms of variety and quality) although the options of the menu were quite nice.
Free WIFI and a couple of nice pubs nearby.
Highly recommendable.

Dear pepitopulpito

Thank you for your kind comments and for recommending the hotel.

We are extremely lucky with our location as we are a stone’s throw from Earl’s Court tube station but set back from the busy road enjoying a quieter surrounding with beautiful views over the park.

I will pass your comments onto the Food and Beverage Manager about the breakfast, the items on the menu we have received very positive feedback from especially the waffles and the eggs Benedict!

Wifi is available free of charge for your entire stay as well as the items from the mini bar. I am glad that this made a difference to your visit and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Kind Regards
