We chose this hotel because of its location and value. Its a 20 minute walk from Stamford Bridge. The room was clean and comfortable and of decent size. Bar food was very nice also. Handy location for local train stations and also has a bus stop outside front entrance.

Room Tip: Take Room only option. As there is several cafe's and pubs nearby offering a wide range of break...

This is an older hotel, the room has been renovated but not recently as it’s ok but still look a bit old. The room is clean and decent size.

There are 2 train stations nearby the hotel. West Brompton station is only 5 minutes walking and West Kensington station is about 10 minutes walking. There are convenient shops nearby and a couple pubs to get some meals.

This ibis hotel is good place to sleep and rest, but other than that nothing fantastic about it. We would stay somewhere else if we visit London again.

We chose the Ibis Earl’s Court simply because we have stayed at many Ibis hotels around the world and we have always found them to be clean and comfortable. Once again we were not disappointed.

We had a double room on the eleventh floor and we were pleasantly surprised to find it larger than we expected with a delightful table and two chairs by the window. It was great to sit here of an evening and unwind with a great view of the area as night fell.

The room was very well appointed with a large TV on the desk, coffee and tea making facilities, a good sized wardrobe with plenty of coat hangers and drawers and an ironing board.

The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality pillows and linen. The room had an excellent reverse cycle air conditioner and also had an additional column heater for anyone really feeling the Wintery chills.

The ensuite bathroom was tastefully decorated with a bath and overhead shower, body wash and clothes line.

We went to ‘The George and Dragon’ on level one many times. It offered a good range of drinks and food at pub prices. On a couple of nights we were there, they pulled down a huge white screen and projected the TV onto it. It was great viewing for all the football fans!

We also took advantage of the continental breakfast on offer and we found it to be good value for money. It is served on level one in the pub area. On several occasions we had to wait for crockery to be replenished before we could get our breakfast and also for a table to become available. Not a huge drama; just a little patience required! The continental option seems to be more popular than the cooked breakfast. The cooked breakfast option was served in the restaurant. We did not dine in the restaurant but could see that it was not as crowded.

Location wise the Ibis is in the same street as the West Brompton tube station and it is only a short walk away. Many buses also run by the Ibis including the National Express bus to the airport.

We found the concierge most hopeful with maps and advise on where to source things locally. There are a good number of shops and amenities nearby i.e. everything from a newsagent, to coffee shops and laundries. There is also a laundromat up and around the corner opposite the Holiday Inn Express.

We had a couple of drinks at the Prince of Wales Pub, which was rather charming. It is located on the opposite side of the road to the Ibis and about 5 minute walk away.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Ibis and would stay there again on our next visit to London.

Overview:
I stayed at the Ibis London Earls court for one night. This hotel is a very clean comfortable place to stay with a great atmosphere. I would be happy to stay longer and will be coming back in the future. The restaurant and traditional British pub on the 1st floor were a pleasant surprise. More than I expected from a budget hotel. Some may find the location little awkward, although there are bus stops and a tube station on the same street.

The Good:

The price: I paid £70 for 1 night's stay. I have paid double that to stay in far worse places in London.

Public transport: There is a tube station a short walk away from the hotel and a few bus stops close by. If you are staying for an event at Earls Court then this hotel is perfect as it is literally across the road.

Quiet area: Not too noisy through the day, and quiet at night. I had no problem getting to sleep.

The bed: Very comfortable, 2 single (sprung, I think) mattresses on a double frame. I had no problem sleeping on this bed.

Clean: All areas I encountered were very clean. Bright white sheets and towels. Soap, shower gel, bins where needed and waste bags in bathroom.

The Breakfast: It costs £11. Personally I don't mind paying because the breakfasts here (and in other Ibis hotels) are great. Lot's of choice.

The atmosphere: We experienced no problem with staff. Everyone was helpful and polite.

The Bad:

The location, depending on why you are visiting London: For some this hotel might be a little out of the way. Although there are public transport links near by as mentioned before.

One bedside cabinet for a double bed: Our room had some exposed cables and an electric box of some sort next to the bed where there should of been a bedside cabinet. Nothing dangerous, just exposed.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 856 on the 8th floor. There is a tower block across the road (nice distance away...

THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. needed a hotel close to the excel this was a good walking distance but i would have rather stayed further and paid the parking. also due to there being so many shows on at the same time room prices went up to ridiculous amounts, so you would think at that price they would at least provide a wardrobe. the shower doesnt even have a door just a flimsy curtain. Dining room well there is none. theres cheap cafe seats in the middle of the reception area only enough for 10 guests so you cant even sit and enjoy breakfast which by the way is only until 10am. if you come down later and ask about breakfast the staff make rude comments.
I dont think the windows are even double glazed, at night you can hear everything. Its as if the people are in your room. its very hard to get any sleep.
to put it simply my stay here gave me depression!

Dear Reviewer,
From the information you have given, I think you are reviewing a different hotel. We are close to Earls Court Exhibition Centre and have a full Restaurant on the 1st floor that can sit over 120 people. All our rooms are equipped with wardrobes and we have both baths and showers in each room. Kind regards, Patrice Millot
