Had a chance to stay here on a combination work / vacation visit to London.

Perfect location for both sets of activities. Central location means easy access to all the sights.

The team was very helpful - excellent concierge and great restaurant team. Very accommodating of personal and professional requests.

We were sorry to have to leave.

Very good hotel with a high standard of service with staff always ready to help & assist. Also positioned between Green Park & Piccadilly access to the underground was good. Many sites within easy walking with Soho & Covent Garden a short train ride away. In fact on the Saturday night we had a short walk to Her Majesty's Theatre to see Phantom of the Opera - great performance. Great weekend and we plan to do it again in September.

Room Tip: We chose the 3rd floor north facing which was quiet. Our room faced the rear of Fortnum & Mason...

Located within walking distance of many of London's attractions the hotel is the perfect place to visit London. The surrounding cafes and eateries were very nice. just across the street, Fortnum and Mason. The sevice is great the concierge was very helpful . We stayed for several nights with my daughter. First room was really small but when asked they were nice enough to move us immediatly to a much larger room which was more comfortable. This is more a business hotel but the location is unbeatble, the rooms are nice and clean. We've had a good stay in the Cavendish and would recommend it

This was a third stay for my Wife and I. Location is so convenient for Central London's many sights and attractions......5 mins from Piccadilly Circus Underground, and around 20 mins walk to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden etc....comfy shoes are a must for your visit! if you require more strenuous exercise you can use LA Fitness Gym on Lower Regent Street for £7.50 a visit.
The Hotel has a history stretching back just over 200 years. A lot of the pictures feature the 1920s/1930s, when "Rosa Lewis" was in charge........she really "put The Cavendish on the London Map!" She has a Blue Commemorative Plaque outside the Hotel.
We arrived on the hottest day of the year....32c!.....wonderful air-conditioning and complimentary fruit-flavoured chilled water in the Reception Lobby was most welcome! Our upgraded room on 2nd Floor was large, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. It had everything to make our stay perfect....Nespresso machine, free Wi-Fi etc....bed was huge and very comfortable! Jermyn Street is surprisingly quiet at night, so we slept well! Bathroom was fabulous with large bath, separate shower plus lovely towels/robes etc...
Breakfast was served in the Hotel's "Petrichor Restaurant" until 12noon!.....it was possibly the best breakfast we have ever enjoyed with a huge range of hot/cold options, and no additional charge for food cooked to order. We had an evening meal in the Restaurant, and can see why it holds an AA 2-Rosettes Award......my Wife's fillet steak and my salmon was cooked and served to perfection! However the "Star of the Show" was a "Chocolate Avalanche" dessert.......truly spectacular and delicious!!
Staff throughout the Hotel were very Professional, friendly and helpful.......nothing too much trouble.......you feel they really want you to enjoy your stay! Special mention for "Stephanie" in the Lobby Bar......we loved the conversation and cocktails!!
We can definitely recommend The Cavendish for a stay in London........it remains our "First Choice"!! Hotel reservations even sent us an e-mail and phoned to confirm/remind us of our booking!

Room Tip: Higher Rooms......Lift goes to 14th Floor......have a marvellous view over the rooftops of London!

We stayed one night at the Cavendish for our 8th wedding anniversary. We booked it based on reviews and we can only agree with all the positive reviews we had read. Our room, 915, was big and light, and had an amazing view over the London Eye, Big Ben, and the Palace of Westminster. Two wonderful surprises from management greeted us in our room and these personal touches certainly add to our happy memories of our stay. It is a big hotel, but feels very small and cosy and from start to finish we were very well taken care of. We did not use the restaurant or bars. Highly recommended and we would stay here again. The location is great too.

I visited THe Cavendish last summer for three nights. The hotel was wonderfully clean and the rooms were a good size for London. We had a fabulous view over the BT Tower. Breakfast was good value with a good selection of additional items on an individual menu that could be brought to the table. The staff were alll very friendly, and the hotel was in a good location (just next to fortum and masons). Would definitely choose this hotel again if I ever return to London.

Room Tip: ASk for a room on a higher floor so you can get a good view of the city
