After coming from a trip through Edingburgh and Manchester I made a one night stop in London. The Cavendish has a great location. Close to Buckingham Palace, the Ritz and the Arts Club. Friendly service, comforatble rooms and all amenites in the room which you would need. The internet is not expensive but would be nice to have it free of charge in these days. Big variety at breakfast.

Having just stayed at the cavendish for the second time found it better than the first time and that was excellent, the hotel is in a great position for touring london the concierges are very efficient and the desk staff are the same polite easy going and efficient and not in your face, we had a classic room this time on the 11th floor and it was a small very well set out room with a shower in the bath, lovely quality bed and bedding and good quality tv, iron and ironing board and a complimentary umbrella, tea and coffee making facilities good quality towels and a nice quality choice of shower gel and shampoo. We did not have breakfast included this time but had free internet, but that did not taste as good as the toast, we have booked again for new year this time we have breakfast included, can't wait to get back what a lovely classy hotel, people who make poor comments about this hotel just need to get out a bit more this hotel has as much as you need position, mid class, lovely rooms, and quality food with good service. Keep up the good work cavendish because we love it thank you

Room Tip: Classic rooms are good, but try the next level up a bit more room, get breakfast included it can be...

Just stayed at The Cavendish and found it to be exactly what we wanted, a perfect location in easy walking distance of famous shops and theatres. It is the perfect alternative to the big bustling noisy hotels in the same general area. The room and staff were top drawer. We'll be back.

Room Tip: 14th floor has the better views of rooftop London

Nice Hotel, near the Picaddily & Regent Street - easy to get around London, Breakfast was expensive though, we had breakfast at the coffee shop near the hotel for cheaper price, the restaurant in the hotel was excellent too.

If your planning a short break in london this is a great location. Most of the main london attractions are within walking distance as are the west end shows.

Breakfast was good, buffet style but nothing exceptional. The breakfast staff are way over tentative, we couldn't relax." More tea?", "have you finished with that?", it made us feel really rushed, so much so that we just took some fruit back to our room.

We had a room on the top floor with good views of london and away from the night time noise. The room was small but very functionable, nice bathroom, good quality Idoc and air con.
The bed was pretty poor though, my head felt lower than my feet, it was ok but not that comfy.

The only issue I had was that the staff just weren't that friendly, I didn't feel that welcome. They were professional and smart but just a bit over efficient. I really felt like we were in the way.

I'm really glad we didn't have our children with us, I don't think they would have been tolerated!

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the top to avoid noise disturbance at night.

Stayed here last year so good to reflect one year later. Check in very good, got executive room at somewhat lower than the going rate due to some error on their part when booking. Had the pre-theatre dinner which was excellent value £24.00 for 3 courses and drink, and food really nice. Room was good size as was bathroom and very clean.
Internet, this is a joke at 10p/minute up to maximum £15.00/24 hours, problem is you keep have to log on every occasion otherwise it charges you. Just used my free data instead.
Breakfast was same as any other hotel apart from the price at £24.00. If I had known that would have picked something up elsewhere. I mean this price is a joke, unless you spend all morning eating there.
Check out smooth and service overall around reception was very good.

Hotel is well located for Buckingham Palace, Green Park, Trafalgar Square and other touristy areas.

As I said spoilt with price of breakie.
