For our five days annual family trip we choose The Cavendish London.
A very good choice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best service in any aspect.
Free WIFI in the lobby, which even reached as far as our room.
Excellent food for breakfast and dinner.
Good situation in walking distance to Picadilly Circus.

Dear Boller E,

We hope you had a safe journey back to Switserland and thank you for staying with us on your 5 day London trip with your Family.
The staff we have are exceptional and we allow them the freedom to make their own choices which often leads to much better guest interaction. As you stated our location is very close to piccadilly circus and you can be there with a 5 minute walk.
Very pleased that you had such a wonderfull stay and look forward seeing you back should you visit London again.

Service, friendly staff, value for money. Excellent location for site seeing. No need for tube!! All walking distance. Food excellent. No hassle. 12pm check out on Sunday which was a massive bonus. Was able to drop off cases before rooms done and even looked after cases when checked out to allow more site seeing.

stayed here again for a long weekend, and as usual never disappoints, from the time we arrived until the time we left the staff could have not done any more for us. the room was excellent, the bar area is very relaxing for pre dinner or after dinner drinks and the staff were outstanding. the breakfast menu has so much to offer you would never go hungry. as it was my wife's birthday a card and cake were waiting in the room (always a lovely touch). would i recommend this hotel ?. definitely!!! we would never stay anywhere else....

Room Tip: higher rooms with glorious views across london

Dear Sandwellsgarage,

Thank you for calling us the BEST hotel in London, that is what we try to achieve each day and is our vision as well. "to be the best 4 star hotel in central london with special people creating special experiences". We always try to do a little bit extra if we know it is a special celebration or birthday and I am glad that you appreciated this effort.
Very much looking forward seeing you back with us.

I keep coming back to this hotel for so many reasons -- the location, for me, is unrivaled because it is near the theaters AND near the incomparable clothier New & Lingwood AND the flawless restaurant Franco's. The bed is a dream and I fell asleep instantly upon it. But the best thing is knowing that you are perfectly supported by an incredibly helpful staff. Fabio and Richard - I am indebted to them both for all the help they gave! -- Brian M

Stayed here for 2 nights as we were having tea at The Ritz. The hotel is in a good location and Jermyn Street is quiet, it's good to get away to a quiet part.

Reception was helpful and checkin quick, apologies for not having our room ready but we were 3 hours early. No problems storing bags.

We upgraded our room and had a large room overlooking the London Eye and much of the city. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. My only niggle was that the iron and ironing board took up half the wardrobe.

Good location and will stay again.

Dear Smudge99,

Thank you for your feedback in regards to your recent stay at The Cavendish.
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you were understanding that your room was not ready yet. Depening on the room type i can imagine that a ironing board can take up a lot of space, i will speak to the head housekeeper to see if we can find an alternative solution for this.

All the Best,

The Cavendish is a hotel that really knows how to look after its guests. We always stay there when we are in London and have just enjoyed our fifth stay. The Cavendish is in a prime location which means many of London's top attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is clean and well organised and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and efficient. The concierge deserves a special mention. The breakfasts are super and offer more than the usual choices. The chef will cook anything you request and the food is of a high standard. The rooms are always comfortable and the bathrooms sparkle. A most enjoyable stay and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the London skyline.

Having waited for quite a few years for a good excuse to return to this hotel, I found it...my daughter's University visits. She and I stayed for three nights this weekend and we were not disappointed. Almost everything was top notch, with improvements since my last visit on the breakfast wait times - there wasn't any wait at all for us this time. I saw there was a choice of breakfast via room service - an option we would have taken if we had two chairs in room to enable us to eat there without making a mess.

The in room amenities have improved even more since my first visit with the BOSE docking stations, flat screen TVs and really good air-conditioning - a massive plus for the days we stayed.

Service was friendly - especially Fi (reception), Yulvnie (maid) and the guy on breakfast reception (sorry didn't get his name, but he was efficient, smiling and always wished us a good day as we left).

Needless to say, the location is perfect for a central London visit, and now I hope my daughter chooses a London Uni, so I get plenty more excuses to return!

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up for great views - one side of the hotel you can see famous landmarks, but the...

How pleasing to hear that after so many years you still had us in the back of your mind. We are thrilled that we have been able to meet your expectations and that you can see improvements from your previous visits. I am pleased that you highlighted Fi and Yulvie for their customer service and dedication. They are a real tribute to our teams and we are blessed to have them work for us.

Thank you for your review and I hope that your daughter has found a good Uni.
