We are a family of 3 personens that stayed att Barry House when we attended a family wedding.
The room was clean, had comfortable beds, a new bathroom, coffee and tea facilities, we received a good English breakfast.
The staff was very good and really looked after us.
Next time we shall book our room downstaires or near the front desk.
The price was very good and we had a marvelous time.
Thank you very much.

This hotel looks beautiful on the outside but beware this hotel is crap in need of a good deep clean and at least a 10 year make-over. Its in a posh area of London but go elsewhere before you top yourself. We should have stayed at the Lancaster Gate so a lesson to be learned is read the reviews before you go..

The smell of curry hits you when you first walk in.
The breakfast is cooked by a young girl chinese girl under the stairs you just 1 egg and 1 slice of bacon and the owner keeps walking round the dining room asking if you want some mushrooms, toast, if you do say yes thats extra charge. There was 2 girls just made it down to breakfast before us and they were laughing at the antics of these hoteliers that we had paid £99 a night tto stay here.

The room was originally 2 rooms and the walls were plasterboard it was a was a disgraceful, furniture looked as if it was from oxfam, the only thing we was happy with is that the bedding was clean. Curtains were hanging off the runners and they smelled. The shower and toilet was as small as an airing cupboard and you had to back in to use the loo. Not a pleasant experience god knows what the yanks think if they use this hotel -there standards are extrmely high. This hotel is run by an mature asian couple who should give it up as a bad job.

Room Tip: A good tip is do not stay here..

Perfect location .
When I entered the rooms they seemed clean, toilet was renovated, but there was no scent to the rooms, u can't tell if it was cleaned or deserted , using air wick and cleaning solutions with a scent would have made a big difference!
In the morning I went down for breakfast , had a look around and was not flattered at all, I was about to leave when a lady owner asked what room I was in .. And that's it! She let me go without perhaps ask if I needed something in particular or if she could help, especially that I was carrying my baby who looked hungry, but all I found was toast and coffee.
All in all , u don't stay much in a b&b u just need a location and good beds ( the pillows were horrible),, I would come again though if I found the prices a it cheaper next time

Excellent location, but it stops there. Our room was very small for 3 people. The bathroom was tiny - my husband couldn't use the toilet properly. Our room had a musty smell. We didn't enjoy our stay and cancelled our last 3 days in this hotel and moved to another hotel in the area, which was cheaper, cleaner and the room was a lot larger. My advice, shop around as there are many good and cheaper hotels in Paddington.

The rooms were very small compared to what is shown on pictures.. the breakfast was ok. the staff was not friendly.. The rooms were not clean and dusty. The beds and mattress was not good. The only plus point about this place is the location. Its was very close to Paddington station and Lancaster gate.Commutation was good and the rest is that my family didn't had a pleasant experience.
