I must say that i entered the room i thought my holidays would be a nightmare. I live on a island with dozens of excellent hotels and thought i've ruined my vacations.
Nothing more wrong. The decoration is old (wall paper, old carpet) but is very, very well conserved and clean. The bed is very good, the bathroom was completely renovated.
Our room was number III on first floor, it is small but it had one extra bed on a compartment with stairs. We putted our bags there so it was perfect.
It was a excellent price vs value deal.

Room Tip: The double rooms they call "Suite" are regular small rooms but they have an extra space wi...

I picked up this hotel because its good location, just a short walk from 2-3 underground stations, and 400 mts from the Hyde Park´s north entrance.

Although the rooms are small and internet is a little slow, the staff was helpful and a continental breakfast is included in the rate.

The neighborood has a lot of charm with typical large attractive Victoria townhouses, multiple options for dinning out, and a 5min walking from Portobello Road Market, if you are lucky to stay there during the weekend.

This hotel is in the Bayswater section of London which is my favourite area of London because I feel its close to everything. I stayed here for a night and, although the rooms are small, the staff was nice and room was clean. I even had the breakfast in the morning and it hit the spot. The free WiFi makes it easy to stay in contact with family and overall it met all my needs. I would stay that its probably a tight fit with more than 2 people; and you won't get a lot of amenities. I recommend Khan's restaurant which is close walk for Indian food.

I must have stayed in this hotel for more than 20 time in last 3 years , this hotel is a great value for money right from reservation to front desk and house keeping you can see the comittment and brilliance . Rooms / wash rooms are not big but comfortable and clean , the location is excellent with three underground stations within a walk of 5-10 minutes . Rates include free breakfast and Internet .

This 3* hotel is in a really convenient central area in London - easily accessible from Bayswater (Circle and District Lines) as well as Queensway (Central Line) underground stations (only 3-5 minutes “foot walk”). There are lots of restaurants and bars close to the hotel and a shopping mall.
Free of charge WiFi Internet is offered in guest rooms and in public areas. Clean room and bathroom with walk shower incl. additional amenities such as: shampoo and shower gel, shower cap, tissues. I have stayed in a single room, which could be bigger, but in old buildings sometimes it is difficult. It is the time to renovate the room. You can find in a room tea/coffee and a kettle. Tea and coffee is replenished every day.
Pretty good continental breakfast with quite wide choice of offerings incl. ham, cheese, eggs, jam, honey, fruits rich selection of bread roll, croissants etc. Tea and coffee are served by hotel’s staff. The Reception staff was helpful with different inquires during my stay in November 2013.

I stayed 5 nights in this simple hotel and had a pleasant stay with few complaints. Small single ensuite room that was very clean with a lovely renovated bathroom. It is very cosy, the bathroom is small but does the job if you are our exploring London every day!

The staff were excellent and friendly, the continental breakfast was standard but a fine start to the day. The room was serviced every day and the breakfast room bright and well staffed.

My negative comments shouldn't overshadow the the positives for this budget hotel. Be aware that the walls are very thin so my advice would be to bring earplugs if you want a good night sleep when people are checking in late. There is a lift which is a positive but it is quite small and exceptionally slow!

Other features include free wifi which worked fine in my room, it is in a great great location, essential shops near by, 3 tube stations within walking distance, Hyde Park within walking walking distance!

A fine, friendly budget hotel for a short stay stay in london from my experience as a single young traveler!

Rooms are tired and old as well as being small, however, if you are looking for a place to sleep only and have clean bathroom, its just OK !

Although hotel it self is old and needs refurbishment, it has great advantage, Staff are really nice and in my opinion their behavior is 5 star. Breakfast is good and comparing to price you pay for this hotel is excellent. Location is also very good and convenient for tourists who want to easily access major tube lines in London. If you are the one with trainers and ready to walk, location is perfect.
