Our family, two adults and three teenagers really enjoyed our stay in Washington Mayfair. The location was excellent, close to Green Park tube station. Staff was very friendly and hotel rooms (two connected double rooms) clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was really good! The only minus was the elevators, small, slow and crowded. There was also some construction work on going in the neighbourhood which caused noise during a normal working day.

This hotel understands the business traveler and is a really central spot for holidays too. Very centrally located near Berkeley square in the Mayfair district and walking distance from Green park, Picadilly, The West End, Savile row, Oxford and Regents streets. Green park tube station is close by.

The rooms are well appointed and modern with great bathrooms.

They provide free internet access, a huge plus as most paces will charge extra for internet access, (I could never understand this as the revenue from internet must be small compared to the plus points earned by providing it) Washington Mayfair got this right.

Sometimes the climate control doesnt work too great (too hot or too cold) but it is a minor issue.

Staff are just great and Annette Staunton, the manager does an excellent job. Honourable mention of Ben in the concierge (They are all good though) and Cosmio in the bar area. They always manage to make you feel at home.

Across the street is the Shepherds market with lovey restaurants and bars and a Tesco's and Nero coffee shop across the street. A 24 hour printing shop a block away is great for getting documents done in a hurry.

Room Tip: Try to stay on low floors as the elevators take some time and the stairs option is always good

Excellent location, rooms clean and comfortable and friendly staff.
Restaurant food very nice. Wonderful base for a weekend or break in London, West end 20 min walk, royal Albert hall 30 min walk. £10 taxi from Marylebone. Don't know if I'd pay full price but special offer prices make it good value.

It's well located, the rooms are spacious, the internet in the room was useless. The shower was good, the breakfast was ok, if you don't mind buffet food. However my son ordered an omelette which was good. the staff were ok not overwhelming. Had to find someone for a drink in the bar.
Would I return, probably not, think that Flemings is much nicer and very closely. However I was influenced by price and got a better deal here. Next time I'll pay a few pounds more and stay round the corner. The rooms overlooking the courtyard are very quiet, so no complaints there and black-out curtains second to none.

Room Tip: Rooms over looking courtyard.

Me and my Daughter stayed recently for 2 nights. Perfect location within walking distance of shops/attractions/parks/palaces - so "No", the tube strike didn't affect us. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and polite at all times. Breakfast is fantastic - just a shade below The Queens Hotel in Leeds which is worth the stay alone. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

We stayed for a week at the Mayfair. It's right off New Bond with lots of art galleries and upscale shops. Also near Regent Street. The concierge was especially helpful in getting tickets and with suggestions. Breakfast was included and was served (not a buffet) in a beautiful restaurant.

We stayed at the Washington Mayfair for 2 nights. We was made very welcome when we arrived at the hotel and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, also the room was ready on time as specified. The Hotel is situated very close to the underground Green Park station. It is close to the Piccadilly theatres, Buckingham Palace, shops and restaurants.
The double room we had was excellent. It was very comfortable, modern and clean with all the necessary facilities. We had full English breakfast at the hotel which was excellent and again the restaurant staff were very accommodating.
We would certainly stay at the Washington Mayfair again on our next visit to London.
