Stayed at London Bridge Hotel over the Christmas period a few years back and have recommended it to everyone looking for a hotel in London since. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean rooms and great breakfast selection. The first time we visited the construction of the nearby Shard was in progress, but this didn't hinder the stay at all. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Go for one of the premium rooms, worth the small amount extra.

I really enjoyed staying at the London bridge hotel, the hotel is clean and friendly, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the location ideal for discovering London, being next to the underground and in the shadow of the shard, would recommend and definitely return.

Traveled to London for a weekend Theatre Break and choose this Hotel from previous reviews. Easy to find but unfortunately due to the redevelopment of London Bridge Station its in the middle of a building site. It didn't however effect the weekend. The Hotel is literally under the Shard which opened its viewing gallery the weekend we went - but we didn't stump up the £35 + to go up

We had a room on the top floor that only had a port hole - like being on a cruise but there was ample room well furnished, god bathroom nice a clean and cannot really fault anything

On minor issue was Breakfast service on the first morning - why is it so difficult to toast toast - i'm sure ours had just been shown the toaster - I asked for fresh toast which was the same - so i gave up

One couple walked out after waiting 20 mins for a coffee but the next day everything was ok

Another great thing about the location is its less than 100 yards from Borough Road Market which for anyone is well worth a visit

Room Tip: Fourth floor are mainly portholes so ask for one below

This was our first stay at the London Bridge hotel. Very high standard of service throughout the hotel and its location was perfect. The room had everything required, wide choice of foods for breakfast and free newspapers every morning. We enjoyed our stay at the London Bridge hotel vet much and will book again.

We stayed on 26/27 January 2013 and this was our second stay. We went back, on our recommendation, with a group of ten to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. We all arrived early (10am)', but our rooms were ready. We all dropped our bags and were off to hit the town. Despite the adjacent construction site, all our rooms were quiet.

We had a great stay and felt were had been looked after. All the staff were excellent. The rooms were clean and modern with all the equipment you would need.

The hotel is central for so many attractions and we did not need to travel far to fill two days of entertainment for a bunch of family and friends. The cote restaurant, next to the river, was a bonus!

This was my second stay at the hotel. Stayed for one night, staff were extremely helpful. Location great, good pubs/restaurants and Borough Market close by, you can walk along the Thames right from London Bridge. Next door to The Shard. Very good value for money.

Great value for its location and standard in London. We stayed for one night and were not disappointed. I disagree with the previous review which criticised service as actually I thought the service was the best part. Excellent reception staff checked us in on Saturday morning and found a room for us to check into even though we were early. Free copies of the Irish papers in the lobby (not sure why the Irish papers but I am Irish myself so couldn't be happier).

The bed is very comfortable and the tv has sky sports if you are I the room relaxing. If I had any bad points and the only reason why I have scored the hotel 4 out of 5 is that the rooms are slightly small and also the bathrooms could do with some updating.

Great hotel overall though and a very nice stay.
