“A pleasant return journey”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2012

Returned to this hotel with husband and teenage daughter to see "Jersey Boys" (which was excellent). The hotel is in an excellent location for Covent Garden and theatreland and Oxford street/Bond Street if you enjoy walking. Check in was efficient and friendly. The two rooms we were allocated were adequate a little on the small side - a bit of a squeeze to access the shower over bath as not much room between end of shower panel and edge of sink. Flat screen tv queen bed quiet rooms as at the back of the hotel. Tea and coffee available in room no mini bar usual other facilities. Did not eat at hotel this time preferring to breakfast out (Bills in Slipsby Square great atmosphere and food). We also ate at Sudo in the same square lovely siamese food especially the starters. Went to John Torrodes Smiths on Valentines Day dined on the second floor brasserie style was a great experience. Back to the hotel its main attraction is its fabulous location and it is competitive in terms of price for this part of London. Parking is available nearby and is pricey but that's London for you.

I stayed for just one night, but staying at Mercer Street Hotel was worth the extra pennies spent. I found the staff very polite, helpful and pleasant. Location is very good (3 min walk from Covent Garden tube station) and it's a very beautiful looking hotel, inside and outside.

I went for deluxe double, room was good size and bathroom was lovely if not a bit on a small side (they could have used up bit more of the room to have bigger bathroom IMHO!) View from the room was... well, none as such, just into the courtyard/roof, but that's expected from hotel in central location of a packed city.

I emailed few days before the stay requesting an early check-in fully knowing it's a request only thing and more often than not, it's not possible. But it never hurts to ask! And I had a polite reply saying as much, which was totally expected. Still, on the day I was delighted to find they did have a room prepared and we were able to check in early, so thank you for that!

Not sure I would or could afford to pay for more than one night's stay, but if there are any special deals at this hotel in future, I'm sure to book it.

Room Tip: Ask for room facing the street - might be noisy but bit more interesting things to see other than wa...

I took my partner here for a birthday treat. We've stayed at a number of 5* and 4* hotels in London in the past. This was the best so far.

The staff were all excellent, the room was decorated in a modern style and the bed was so good we wanted to take it home!

Faultless; we'll be going back.

PS The only thing to watch out for is, that having been the Mountbatten Hotel in the past, there is little by way of clear signage. The hotel name “Radisson Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel" is a bit of a mouthful.

We stayed here a couple of nights during our long weekend break. It's ideally placed for the shops, restaurants, bars and theatres of Covent Garden. Just a short walk from the tube station, the hotel has been nicely refurbished, although our room was small. Excellent housekeeping (thanks Joyce for finding our 'missing' hairdryer). Courteous and obliging staff. We did not eat there but the alternatives locally are numerous, including breakfast. If you are arriving on foot as we were, and new to the hotel, there is no 'Radisson' sign on the building - just an indistinct 'Mercer Street hotel' above the entrance. It is a triangular corner property, typical of many in London, and it faces both Mercer Street and Monmouth Street. We walked straight past it first time around.

Room Tip: If you need a large room, check sizes before you book.

Stayed for 1 night celebrating a family birthday. Superb location, very friendly, helpful staff and service. Breakfast very good with lots of options. Only issue we had was the room temperature which took quite some time to warm up on arrival.

Just had the most wonderful stay at Radisson Edwardian Mercer St. We had slight problem with the electrics on our door, staff were Very quick to try to sort this out.As it was not possible at time. In just a few minutes we were upgraded to a suite on same floor we were with friends so we were still able to be close by. All staff were so warm & friendly. Always on hand to please. Food was lovely & plenty of it. I will definitely be going back. Bed was so comfy too.
