In London, it's all about location - and this hotel has it. If you were to put an axle in the center of London & spokes that radiated out into the rest of the city, this hotel would be right up against that axle. You can get anywhere from the Radisson Hampshire - by any means - walk, bike, taxi, pedicycle, tube, etc.
The hotel itself is overrated, overpriced, and worn. The staff, on the other hand, is courteous, efficient and accommodating. Many of the staff went 'beyond the call of duty' to assist us - consistently.
A nice feature re the arrangement of the rooms is that the doors to the rooms do not face the primary hallways on each floor. Smaller hallways off the primary ones lead to only two rooms, making the typical door slamming noises nearly non existent.More
