A very average meal, but not expensive, though the dessert was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. I won't be too troubled if I don't go again!

Lovely restaurant for a mid week supper. Good selection of steaks, perfect vegetables & mash & an excellent wine cellar to compliment to food. Reasonably priced for the quality of experience & very attentive staff.

Will definitely return & also try branches in other locations on the basis of this visit.

I went here with friends on a Friday evening. We had a mixture of the set menu and a la carte. This is the 6th time I have been here in the last year or so and again it was excellent. All the dishes were very good and the wine was good quality and decently priced. The service was attentive and professional.

Met a friend for a quick dinner on a Friday night and the brasserie was very quiet though the bar area was packed - fabulous waxed candleabra took centre stage on the bar.

Open style theatre kitchen, lots of pictures on walls with tables fairly well spaced out.

I chose the selection of salads to start - very generous portion - with Salmon for the main. Unfortunately the salmon was a bit on the dry side. It was served on a slate which meant the side order of carrots had a tendancy to roll off so a plate would have been a better option. Fries were nice and crispy. My friend chose the beef tartare and duck which were declared excellent. We both chose rhubarb sylabub which was deliciously light. Did not drink so cannot comment on the wine list.

Service was attentive and both waitresses very friendly.

My husband and I went for a meal last night and, as this was our first visit, didn't really know what to expect. We need not have been concerned. The ambiance was really relaxing and the service was good- slow and unrushed with plenty of time to relax and chat. The food was excellent. I had the pea and ham risotto followed by haddock and the most sublime pistachio soufflé. The wines were good and overall at only £14 for a two course meal it was excellent value. We will definitely return.
