“Ghost tour 5.7.14”
Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

We went to the Ghost Tour at Firepower last evening. An excellent tour guide who had clearly researched her subject and added humour to her speech. We were treated to sausages and mash and a cuppa which was included in the price. Overall an excellent experience and value for money.

“fun and history combined”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

an excellent museum for adults and children alike. staff are friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable . school holidays are a treat if you have children as there are loads of activities planned throughout the day and the gunners keep the children very much in control (and if your a big kid like me they will let the mums join in as well). If you don't have kids and don't want to hear the gunners shouting instructions to the kids then go outside school holidays, there is a lot of big exhibits as well as the small personal stuff, the medal gallery and stories is a must . there are days when they fire a variety of the gun and there are groups that dress up in ww1, ww2 and Napoleonic gear that visit on a regular basis. we are there at least once every six weeks and are nowhere near bored with it yet, visit and enjoy as it very sadly is due to close in 1917 due to the council taking back the buildings which I think is a great shame and there is an online petition to try and stop this from happening. brilliant place

“On target - a hit”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

A great historic location, and a fascinating museum as well. Find time to visit this place, and if you get a chance to look around the 'hidden' exhibits in the old hall, take it. Highlight of our 3 days in London & arrive by boat for an extra treat.

“unique museum”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

visited this museum on 3 or 4 occasions now, including an excellent ghost tour. There's always something new to see, there are so many things to see you never see it all, and it tells the himan side of the Royal Artillery in an excellent way. Well worth a visit (or two)

We were visiting on a day where they fired some cannons. That was an absolutely fantastic experience. The museum was great and had lots of interesting things to see and a nice amount of info which wasn't too wordy.

We spend a couple of hours here including the firing.

Catch the river bus as is docks right outside the museum.
