Very nice and cozy room, bed was comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were always clean. A good localation (close to Soho area) and walking to city center took proximately 20min. Two undergrounds close to this hotel, very easy way to city center and back. Helpful personal.

I have been there for the second time.
Everyting else is good as the first time (position, price and kitchen with food), but cleaning got surely worse and rooms got a bit worn off. Not so good I hope they get back to previous levels.

Very convenient location and a pleasant welcome. Think student bedroom in terms of the room you'll be staying in. I was on the third floor, no lift. The shared reception room and the provided food was brilliantly helpful. Cheese, bread, cereal, tea, coffee, bacon, juice, fruit, biscuits etc. The bed was comfy.

The walls are a bit thin, but I always travel with ear plugs. The walls could certainly do with painting, and there are cracked tiles and parts of the walls, however this is a old building.

I paid £51 a night which I felt was a bargain considering the breakfast and in comparison with a private room at the YHA. Will be staying here again.

I read the glowing reviews off his place online and thought that could be a perfect placebo stay in my second night in London. Found the place very easily and it's large sign stating to ring the bell to get service is a great feature. I was greeted by a very nice guy who took my bag and showed me to my room. He showed me the living area with the kitchen which was nice, then my room. It wasn't the tidiest of rooms as the door had a lot of dirt, the walls we cracked and generally just needed to be brought to life again.

The windows were paper thin so I pretty much heard everything going on outside so I didn't get the best nights sleep.

To be honest this room was to be just a place to sleep so I was fine with it. It's definitely not the kind of place you bring your partner on a weekend away. However if you need somewhere that's affordable, you are on your own and you just intend to sleep there. This is a good place.

Also when it's dark, the lights need to be on when coming up the stairs, the amount of times I tripped going up those stairs is uncountable.

Shame the rooms aren't as great as the service. It was good for the one night but I won't be staying here again.

TripAdvisor led me to this gem near Goodge Street and I am delighted it did. I reserved a room for a couple of nights and ended up having to extend my stay to wait for my passport to arrive. Not only were the staff friendly and accommodating, but they were happy to receive my passport at a different address, and keep me informed along the way.

The accommodation itself is great. I had a small single room and wasn't expecting much, but it included a desk, a tv, and free wifi. The common areas were also impressive - a nice lounge area and kitchen, fully stocked with fresh fruit and all the ingredients you need for a full breakfast: bacon, orange juice, eggs, milk, tea, coffee, etc. The shower/toilets are also shared, but I never found myself queuing to use them, and they were always clean and welcoming.

If you're expecting a traditional full-service hotel, don't stay here, but if you want flat accommodation with great amenities in a perfect location, book it now.

Fantastic location, literally about 2-3 minutes away from Goodge St. station (so Northern line) and not very far at all from Euston, Warren Street and King's Cross where you can get to all the other underground lines!

Really enjoyed being treated like an adult and not getting "served" all the time. This is quite a superfluous thing in the current hotel concept! These guys give you a common kitchen full of food (so you can help yourself and cook at any time), a kitchen on YOUR FLOOR as well, and yeah, you're expected to wash your own dishes as you're sharing the accommodation with others, but you know what - that makes it even better! (And presumably is what allows them to have such low prices - where are you going to get such a great location, free GOOD Wi-Fi and breakfast for 40 quid?!).

Bathrooms are shared, but really clean and there's 2 per floor (each floor has 4-6 rooms so there really are enough bathrooms).

Really excellent, would stay there again (even with my partner).

This is an excellent and good value place to stay and being just behind the BT Tower, it is pretty central too. The room was a bit on the small side, but everything was there, including a top class Wifi signal. Everywhere and everything was clean with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. The do-it-yourself breakfast was more than adequate and the staff exceptionally helpful.
