“Felt like a piece of history”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

It is always great to see that such a band as The Beatles is still loved. And one of the places one can experience that is at the famous Abbey Road Crossing.

“Crowded, far and not organized”
Reviewed August 12, 2014

little did we know that it would be about an hour hike up to the famous Beatles crossing, but it sure was. it was a pretty busy street and it isn't like an attraction with people stopping cars. you have to jump in the street with a ton of other ppl and hope you don't get hit.

“Does not disappoint!”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

Exactly what you would expect .... a level crossing made famous by The Beatles, and plenty of tourists! Still, when you get that opportunity to live the dream and cross Abbey Road on THAT crossing, it is something special. It really is for the true Beatle fan, otherwise, it's just a level crossing with lots of pedestrians!

“A Fun Stop for Beatles Fans”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Fun for a quick photo and not hard to get to from the tube stop. It is a good idea to have the photographer position themselves on the corner of the little island, we got a good angle that way. Forget about trying not to have other people in the photo, especially if it is a Saturday afternoon! And remember that it is a regular intersection, with lots of traffic going through, and be respectful of the cars. Stopping for five seconds in the middle of the road is perfectly acceptable, ten seconds is tolerated, any longer and you will get beeped at!

“Walk like a Beatle QUICKLY!!”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

This is the classic Abbey Road crosswalk from the Beatles Abbey Road album, it is also an incredibly busy live intersection with merging traffic, busses and tons of tourists trying to capture the iconic walk across.
It is a must do for London!!
Tips: check out the album cover beforehand so you line up the correct way
Plan who will take your photo, they should stand a bit down the road in the "ready" when traffic clears
We find it difficult to get a turn without constant photo bombers.
Plus people in London have terrible manners so you will just have to be pushy to get this classic photo!
Walk a little down the road and write your name on the abbey road studio wall, a recording studio still in use today! Great music by the Beatles was made here.
