“Always changing and some great ticket deals”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

So many good shows have started life here. They also often offer £10 tickets to see shows. I enjoy the space a little dated in parts but it adds something to the atmosphere. Try something different here you never know it might just be the next big West End hit. War Horse anyone?

“Hideous building hides gem inside”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

Whether a theatre buff or not, this place is a must place to go.
Offering 3 theatres - large Olivier, medium Lytlteon and more initimate cottosloe(soon to be refurbished), tickets can be purchased from as little as £12 (subsidised by travelex) and they put on some of the most outstanding performances going-Simon Russell Beale, Anthony Sher ,Fiona Shaw, Lenny Henry, John Lithgow.......
On top of this , there is often live music at weekends , or other types of performing arts , exhibitions , there is nowhere better to be during the summer , especially with the great views towards St Pauls one way or The House of Commons the other.
There are several places to eat and the mezzanine restaurant often does offers to make the meal better value.
There is so much going on around that at going at weekends always offers something different.

“Outstanding tour”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

I have done this tour twice and it is always new and updated. The guides seem to like telling the details like they are sharing a secret - very interesting. This is a great one for a family.

“What to say...?”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

I have seen some stunning productions here - particularly under Hytner and have never failed to enjoy my visit.

The staff are competent and efficient. The booking process has always worked fine - internet great - on phone can take a little time but that's natural.

Although I have eaten there I don't go for the food but for the theatre. Is nice to sit out front in decent weather and people watch - fascinating variety found on the South Bank. My friends from Holland were prepared to be snobbish about London and found themselves overwhelmed by the richness, variety and depth of the culture they found all around them
