“Value for money, Good Location”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel.
TRANSPORTATION: It is very convenient if you arrive from Heathrow airport, as this hotel is located a few steps from Earl's Court tube station, on the Piccadilly Line, direct from Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3,5. It is also very convenient for your daily excursions, as Earl Court station connects to District Line, and there are a few bus stops around the hotel. We had purchased an Oyster Card prior to our arrival so there was no need for queuing to buy a ticket for the tube or the buses.
OUR ROOM: We stayed in room 311 (double-bed). The room was quiet as it is located on the third floor neighboring to only one room (310). This room is renovated, aircon worked fine and quietly, bathroom is nice and has a modern shower cabin equipped with shampoo dispensers. There is a closet with hangers , a safe box, a hair dryer, a water kettle, coffee and sugar, cups, and a flat screen TV. The access for the room was a challenge, as we had to take the elevator to the 2nd floor and then walk up and down 3 staircases to the room. If you have heavy or bulky luggage it will be somehow challenging to move in and out. One of the annoying things was that out of the 5 days we stayed there, we had to have our key cards to be replaced 4 times, meaning that every day we had to go up and down stairs to get a new key from reception.
BREAKFAST: Breakfast room is located in the basement. It has a toaster that takes ages to toast some bread, a very good coffee machine for various coffee types, orange juice, flake dispenser machines. The breakfast consists of Bread, Croissants, Boiled eggs, Butter, Packed Cheese, marmalade. If you want an English breakfast or more, there are two very nice traditional Pubs around the corner. All in all this is a good value for money hotel, in a very convenient location.

For the price i paid i wasn't expecting much, and my first impressions proved it, the hallways seem to be being redecorated, and so the smell of paint was overwhelming, there were signs saying wet paint most places but not all, my boyfriend managed to place his hand on a wet rail so he wasnt pleased! once we got into the room though it was pretty nice ! very cosy though but everything needed was there. no bath but one wasnt really needed anyway.

One major problem we had was on the first night we got back the (only) light wouldn't work, it just flickered. we told the receptionist who said all maintenence workers were away, so gave us a key for another room, which was right at the top of the hotel (which the lift didn't even go up to) it had two single beds when we needed a double, and the room was too small to even be able to push the beds together! so we declined the room, and he ended up moving us to a bigger room with one double and one single in it! so it worked out well in the end, it was just a pain at that time of night having to run around the hotel going through all that hassle.

the breakfast was very basic, just cereal and toast and some fruit really. but since we were only there for 2 mornings we weren't too fussed. it is very central too which is handy

so if your looking for a cheap short getaway this is the right hotel, central, with all the basic needs, lovely shower and polite staff- this is the one!

Air con didn't work in the room which was an uncomfortably warm temperature. There was a plastic mattress protector on the bed- this was incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on, and not the sort of thing I'd expect in a hotel, even at cheap prices. Very small room. Breakfast was terrible, consisting of a very limited choice of overcooked boiled eggs and similarly unappetising things. Also, I was made to give a £20 deposit (cash or card pre-auth) on check in that I wasn't expecting and couldn't avoid. Overall a bad stay. Avoid.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night in s ingle room. The room was small but very well presented, very clean and the en-suite shower room was modern and well equipped. The breakfast range was limited but for an over nighter or a weekend in London if you’re out most of the time the hotel is affordable and located in the centre of Earls Court less than 5 minutes walk to the underground station. If I were to stay here again, I might splash out and book a double!

Room Tip: Bring ear plus as with all hotels the heavy fire dorrs can keep you awake.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was within a couple of minutes from the Earls Court Station on Piccadilly line. We had requested for a room on a higher level so its not cold, and we did get a nice warm room, and really clean too.
There was a bit confusing with so many fire doors and stairs, but eventually you get around fine.
The breakfast room was a bit messy first morning, but the rest of the time was more tidy.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher level and not facing the street.

This hotel is very confusing to get around in.....there are doors and stairways everywhere....The 1st night we spent here was in a room up one flight of stairs....it was apparently newly renovated. It had a newly done bathroom, some wood fixtures, new TV and some new paint. The walls were in terrible shape. We did not sleep well at all, as the bed was so worn out that it folded us into the center from every angle. It also had a noisy compressor? outside the window that ran all night. The front desk seemed surprised that we complained about the bed the next morning as it was a "newly renovated room". I think they must have forgotten to replace the bed.

We were moved to another room, which was on the ground level. The bed was in much better shape. The room had also been renovated, but the walls were still in terrible shape. The room faced the same way as our last one had, so we still had to listen to the "compressor" all night again.

The location of this hotel is great....it is right around the corner from the Earl's Court Tube station. The lobby is nice when you walk in, but the rest of the hotel has a really boxy feel, with narrow corridors and doors everywhere.

Breakfast was decent. There was a fairly good selection of things to choose from, although basic.

I would recommend that you try to find another hotel in the area for the price that you will pay to stay here.....the entire street is hotels. I am sure that there are better options out there.

We will not stay here again.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for one on the back side and higher up. There were 2 ladies that stayed in single beds on...

We booked through Agoda and got a really good price. The room (#401) was very small (probably the smallest hotel room I´ve seen) but recently refurbished. The bathroom was also very small but clean. The water pressure was ok and there was plenty of hot water. I could not get the air conditioning to work so the room was bit chilly, but the hotel had an electrical radiator that heated the small space up in no time. The breakfast selection was a bit sparse, but ok. The walls and the door was pretty thin so I used earplugs when sleeping. The location is very good. You can take the Piccadilly line straight from Heathrow airport to Earls Court and the hotel is just steps away from the station.
