Reception staff really friendly and 'can-do'. 2mins' walk from Earl's Court tube. Loads of restaurants and shops on Earl's Court Road, including M&S food. Room really nice, ours was so quiet,we looked out over neighbours' rooftops at back, felt very private. Compact kitchen area really well thought out (2 of everything basic like plates, cups, cutlery plus teapot) in fact everything was really well thought out, must have been designed by someone who travels a lot and knows what's important. Appreciated free wi-fi and free Internet via tv (although a bit slow to use). Really comfy bed and nice shower. Paid £113 - would have paid about this or more for room in other hotels we've stayed at before for this time of year, difference is, we'll not be going back to them, we'll come back here, with all the extras it has the edge.

I stayed here for three nights on business. I usually stay the nearby Holiday Inn Kensington Forum, but stumbled across this on the web and was astounded at the price (then 89 GBP). I booked a single room which was exactly as described on the web - small but perfectly formed. Beautiful finish, comfy bed, loved the small kitchen area - it has no 'regular' hotel services, but you can arrange most anything (eg gym, laundry) withthem.

I shopped for my stay at Mark and Spencers in Earls Court Road, a block away and ate well (and cheaply). B2S is about half way between Gloucester Road and Earls Court tube stations and convenient for both business and leisure. Staff in reception were great, and it was quiet - despite my room being on the first level on the way to reception. I've been trying to find a way to stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Excellent, no frills hotel. Convenient location. One easy walkable block to Earls Court Tube Station - District and Piccadilly Lines. Staff was very helpful. Rooms large, roomy, and spotless. Discount coupons to restaurants within walking distance. Many places to eat on Earl's Court and Brompton Rds. Highly recommend. Can't go wrong staying here.

From the moment I walked through the door to reception, it felt right. Friendly (not in your face) staff, comfortable surroundings, everything I needed was there or made available in no time. Ideal location to get about. Don't think about staying here, stay here.

Our group of family and friends stayed at Base2Stay while having a reunion with other family members arriving from Finland. We had 4 rooms total. My room was gorgeous...clean, modern and great views of lovely Earl's Court neighborhood. We enjoyed using the small kitchenette and accessing our email from the hotel's TV. The staff was very helpful with our questions about things to see and good food to try. The proximity to the tube was extremely convenient and the neighborhood was lovely...friendly people and quiet streets.

I have tended to avoid staying around Earls Court but now I'm wondering why. It's a good location for transport via the district line, quit quiet but good amenities too. Base2Stay was a nice surprise - really beautiful rooms. I stayed in a single, which though compact is very well appointed and comfortable. No skimping on the shower - which was powerful and a generous walk in size. All very clean. I ate out, but the little cupboard kitchen looked very useful indeed. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. Genuine 4 star experience at a very good value rate.

Really nice and clean. Very close to earl's court tube stop. Our room was quite small but we don' t really care about that; the shower was great and the mini kitchen really useful (you can cook a simple breakfast). We loved the Internet-enabled tv and its suggestions... surely we will come back again.
