For the price -- compared to other London hotels, that is, which are often exorbitant for what you get -- The Nadler is a nice choice. Our big issue was that our small top-floor king room got NO WiFi. At all. And it took the hotel a while to believe that it wasn't just user error on our parts. However, once we sorted that out, they switched us to a bigger room on a lower floor and it was PERFECT and there were no problems at all. Here is a more specific review:

ROOM: Booking online made it hard to tell what we were getting -- frankly, we thought we were booking the large room we got second. But anyway, as two friends traveling, we switched out the king bed for two twins, and there was enough room for all our hunk (laptops, suitcases), a small desk under the TV, a fridge for goodies. When they moved us to the bigger room, it had a king bed and then a fold-out twin on a futon, and LOADS of floor space and neat windows... THAT room was great. That's the room we thought we were booking ANYWAY, and they gave it to us for gratis because of our Internet troubles, which was really VERY much appreciated. The room itself was comfortable enough and warm. I brought a pillow from home in my luggage and I'm glad I did, because hypo-allergenic pillows at ANY hotel are always terrible for some reason, and having my own pillow got me to sleep right away.

STAFF: Very nice, very helpful. Sold us two power converters when it turned out ours didn't work with three-pronged US plugs, and the price they offered did not seem inflated versus buying it anywhere else. They also arranged us a well-priced, very nice car for our trip back to Heathrow so that we didn't have to navigate the trains (which was easy enough, but still - a car is nice and easy).

AMENITIES: To be honest, if they had it, we didn't notice. WiFi was free; broadband was metered, and we used both, because of how the in-room WiFi didn't work. (They refunded us the cost of broadband.) They didn't have a restaurant or anything; it's a very bare-bones place in that way, but that's fine, especially because of the location. But if you think you'll be needing food late at night or something, that might be an issue for you, as I don't know when anything around it closes and they don't have a kitchen. We were on a research trip and not spending a ton of time at the hotel, so for what we needed, it was perfect.

LOCATION: On a quiet street in Earl's Court, just about a block or two from the tube and the main thoroughfare, which is great -- not too far, but also, no street noise. There's a Boots right there next to Earl's Court tube, and a Marks & Spencer market, plus a Pret a Manger sandwich place and two pubs and a burger joint (as of 2014), so plenty of food options and places you can get things to stash in your hotel room.

TUBE: Earl's Court is on the purple Piccadilly line and thegreen District line. This makes it really easy to get anywhere -- just hop the District for Paddington train station if you want to head off on a day trip to Oxford, or Windsor (both about an hour), and also, the trains from Heathrow take you to Paddington; the Piccadilly, which also goes back and forth to Heathrow, takes you to Covent Garden and right in the heart of the theatre district, as well as to Harrods at Knightsbridge, and the museums at South Kensington. Obviously a change of Tube easily gets you anywhere else, but there's a simplicity just to getting to those places.

Room Tip: If you have two people, consider the upgrade to the king room with the twin futon. LOTS of floor space in there and a bigger kitchen area as well.

We have just returned from a 6 day stay in London which was thoroughly enhanced by our stay at the Nadler Kensington. The room with its efficient little kitchen area, as well as the modern and ( for England) spacious bathroom, was immaculately kept by the hotel staff. The friendly and very helpful concierges were invaluable in helping us navigate through London, since this was our first stay. The Nadler is in very close proximity to the Tube Station and is surrounded by a large choice of restaurants and convenience stores. We definitely intend to stay there again when we come back to London.

I am pleased you enjoyed the location and the proximity to transport and the choice of partners cafes and restaurants. That's why we don't have our own. Why compete when you have everything you could possibly want on your doorstep. Come back soon and try a few more of our friends' establishments!

We stayed in the Nadler and our overall experience is great except the room size. We had booked a room for three but that room was not for 3. The second day we asked them to close the sofa bed as it was leaving no space to move and it was so narrow and uncomfortable that there was no way to sleep on it. So we three adults have to share a double bed:( The double bed was good in size, linens, towels, cleaning and especially, the friendliness of the staff were great. Especially receptionists were very friendly and caring. Location is great at is just a block's walk to Earl's Court tube station.

Room Tip: We had room facing back and it was very quite and peaceful.

My stay at The Nadler Kensington has been absolutely wonderful. I arrived on a late night flight and was very warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. The check-in process was done in a breeze and all documents were perfectly prepared and presented to me upon arrival. I had booked an individual room and to my surprise I was allocated on a double room with a huge queen bed. This was certainly a plus after a long trip!

The room itself is very spacious and with everything you could need for a joyful stay, including a perfectly equipped mini-kitchen which even included a Nespresso machine! Everything was top-notch clean and brand new. Even the shower had a digital temperature control device. My room was on the fifth floor and it was absolutely quiet, which contributed to a great sleep.

The front desk staff was very nice, always smiling and ready to help.

The free wifi connection was flawless and there was even an individual hotspot for each room!

Lastly, but not least, the location is absolutely awesome. Less than 5 minutes away from Earls Court tube station, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The neighborhood is also very safe and pleasant to walk around.

I've had a wonderful experience at this hotel and will return without any doubt.
