There is a very cosy atmosphere about this old Market Hall where you now find various shops and eatingplaces. Downstairs is a good winebar and many musicians perform from opoerasingers to trios with classical Music. Highly recommended
You can easily spend a day here, first of all looking at the beautiful stalls which sell quite different things, and then you have all the street theatre, various acts perform all day with a 40 minute slot, as soon as one finishes another starts! All they ask is for a donation at the end, really great entertainment. You can also have a meal with classical and operatic music, again free of charge, just a donation.
Covert Gardens is the centre of art.
There are frequent art exhibitions and artists' performances here.
Grab a cup of coffee and spend an afternoon here is one of the best experience in London!
A real gem in central London. Usually has a number of street entertainers which are truly exceptional.

As always very busy but worth a visit. Always something going on with street entertainers, craft stalls, chic shops. A plus is that there are public toilets downstairs (difficult to find in london) expensive£1 but clean (not your usual review). No empty shops and despite the crowds clean and no graffiti worth a stroll and if time plenty of places to eat
