We have been trying to visit all the main tourist attractions in London. This was our first visit. The outside is spectacular. When you enter you get an audio which explains all the main points when you go around. So much history in one beautiful building. Be aware that you cannot take photographs. We also brought the 241 with the rail tickets so a very good deal. Fantastic visit and would highly recommend.

Busy tourism spot with many jostling for a photo in front of the awe inspiring building. Certainly a building to remember. Great photo opportunity for an iconic place. Loved the little jewel tower built in the 1300s beside this building as part of the king Edward III palace

While an iconic sight of London, if you want to go inside, be prepared to pay over twenty pounds, per person. While this does include an audio guide, also be prepared for crowds, and especially bottlenecks in the more narrow passage ways in the church. The Abbey is indeed very beautiful, however it is very hard to stop and get pictures, as once again, you will need to constantly fight with tour groups and other tourists to access side chapels and spaces in front of tombs, etc. Be noted that the VAST majority of those buried in Westminster Abbey are not famous and most of those in the famed Poets Corner were indeed not buried in the abbey but are simply commemorated (Shakespeare, Jane Austen, etc.). I would only recommend a visit if something was extremely interested, those with only a casual interest could skip.

Such a wonderful building to visit, from start to finish. The building is impressive and magnificent from the outside and this continues inside with wonderful and breathtaking architecture. The audio guide is really quite good and aids to the visit hugely, but the sheer beauty of the building speaks for itself.

There is a bit of a lineup even on a weekday but the line moves fast and its worth the wait.

Audio guide is available in several languages.
