The visit is definitely worth your time and money. It takes around 90 minutes to see it all. The building is gorgeous and well maintained. Very interesting explanations if you take the audio guide.

Westminster Abbey feels like a giant tomb. There are so many famous people either interred or memorialised within. It gets to the point where there is just so much you can't take it all in.
Other people have suggested not going at the weekend and they are of course correct. Curse that pesky working for a living thing.
Many of the staff seem a bit serious until you start speaking to them when they get more animated.
The foreign students are seriously annoying as they appear to have little interest in their surroundings and barge past you. I'm not overly xenophobic but as the Dean stated, it is a place of worship.
Catering was a bit disappointing as there only seemed to be a full restaurant for a large meal or a sandwich stall out the front.
At £44 for two, or £40 for a family with one child (?) it is worth thinking about annual associate membership at £61 for two if you plan to return.
It takes time to look through properly and I would suggest you allow enough time to do that.
Was one of my favorite places we visited on this trip and well worth the admission price. I was amazed at the size and scope of the Abbey and learned much about its history from the free audio guided tour.
I would advise to purchase tickets ahead of time to avoid standing in the queue.
This is a must stop in London. It cost £22 to enter, kind of on the steep side as far as attractions go. Once inside we got the headphone tour which was very good and informative. There is so much history here, it's amazing!
There was a short line out front by 0945. It is definitely worth a stop by!
Lots of history in this building. Pictures of it everywhere on the internet. Very cool building with lots of monarchy and other famous British subjects buried there (including Darwin, buried in a church. I chuckled!)
Expensive admission ticket to not be able to take any photos of your own inside. We saw security approach and intimidate anyone they saw trying to take pictures. Be warned, they are watching you at all times, including via video camera when it seems like no one is looking.
Westminster Abbey was an included attraction with our London Pass. We were able to do a skip the line with this as well. Amazing place to be in and very interesting to see all the people buried in here. Be sure to check when the Abbey is open before going, since there were some days it was closed.
