So we pre booked a fast track ticket, and were directed to use the machines. There was little indication of where we should go next, and were eventually told to go back to the front. The man at the front scanned the tickets, but was too busy talking to another staff member to tell us which way to go which caused more confusion.
We were then shown inside and discovered we would be going round the attraction with a large school/college group of teenagers from the Netherlands. Not only were these young people loud and over excited, I got the impression at least one wasn't overly keen on the presence of "Englanders" as we overheard him say. Suffice to say, they talked through many of the presentations by the performers and spoilt the afternoon for us.
For whatever reason, we didn't get to go on the water ride - no explanation was given for this.
Having said all this, I have to say the various actors were certainly very good, and when we could hear them, the scripts were very funny, although I think we were the only people in the room who understood most of the jokes!!! Both my son and myself were chosen in a couple of the rooms which certainly added to the experience. Overall, a bit of a let down but it could have been entertaining were it not for the party we had been put with. It really put a dampener on proceedings.

Thank you for your review!

I am sorry that the London dungeon did not live up to expectations on this occasion and that your experience was marred by members of your group. Please get in touch with ldguestexperience@merlinentertainments.biz if you would like to tell us more about your experience.

The Executioner is gutted that you got away this time!

Visited with my 8 year old son. Was unsure if it was going to be a bit full on for him on the account of his age and I would say he was just old enough to enjoy it without being scared stiff. I thought the actors were brilliant, the audience participation was well done as well. Gift shop is reasonably priced although I'd say the pictures you have taken at the beginning are quite expensive, you've got to appreciate its a tourist attraction and you don't visit every day.

Thank you for your review! We are glad you both enjoyed your journey into London's dark and gruesome history! The Plague Doctor hopes you will remember to check your sweaty bits, some of their leeches are still missing!

We paid the full price while none of the 2 atractions (boat tour & drop dead) were open. We were put together with German school kids who made a lot of noise, it would have been better if they were seperated from the rest. Not worth that much money at all! The stories/rooms could be more scarier.

Had a good time visiting the Dungeons. Revamped since we last went 10 years ago , with a more like Florida Theme Park style of putting groups of about 20 people in room by room tour . Overall actors very good and told story of London through the ages excellently . Shame we had about 5 little kids in our group running riot and generally getting in way. Who takes little kids to places like this ? Anyway would recommend a visit here if you haven’t been at all or over 10 years ago as it’s been brought up to today’s standards.

Went and enjoyed this attraction to break from the standard attractions we have visited. I have never been one to particularly like this kind of thing, however I did have fun watching others that obviously we easy to be scared. If you like scary things or to watch people’s reactions, this is the place to go.
