Owner description: The London Dungeon, one of the UK’s most iconic attractions, has reinvented itself now as a bigger, bolder and better attraction in the vast underground vaults of County Hall on the South Bank, next to the EDF Energy London Eye. The all new multi-million pound attraction will bring 1000 years of authentic London history to life with a unique mix of talented live actors performing in scarily funny shows, stunning special effects, edge of your seat surprises and two exciting thrill rides. Guests will embark on a journey through a dramatic London landscape going back ten centuries. They will be guided through ghastly plague-ridden streets, witness Guy Fawkes’ dramatic plot to blow up Parliament, travel back to Jack the Ripper’s bleak Whitechapel and walk beneath London’s foreboding medieval gates. There are new shows and rides which are more dramatic and surprising than ever, new funnier scripts, more theatrical costumes and styling and more talented actors to play even more colourful villains and blaggards.

After a lovely time and speedy Que at London eye we then me my mum and 7 year old son made our way toLondon dungeon we paid £71 the day before so got in the standered Que outside which if there's any Que at all don't do it it's a hour at least then they get u inside and it's another hour in the end we walked out with my son crying so that was 71 pound down the drain, they should tell you how long the Que is but they darent as this would turn money away!!!! So upset with how misled and how much money we lost today

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed. Since we opened, 1 month ago, we have been very popular. In this ‘newly opened’ period - there is a longer queue time for our guests. We are working to improve this at the moment with:

• additional staff to support and talk to guests about waiting time and tickets
• improved information (signage) outside the attraction
• created a new way of queuing to get into the attraction
• introduced extra entertainment for guests in the queue (Black Jester, Dungeon Keeper)
• provide complimentary treats for guests on particularly busy days

As the second biggest operator of visitor attractions in the world, guest satisfaction is really important to us. We’d like to speak to you privately about your experience: please e-mail us on LDGuestExperience@merlinentertainments.biz

Thank you.

It is soooo lame. Just for little tiny kids and loud teenagers who scream for no reason really. If you´ve been to Disney World or anything similar, do not waste your time on this. Boring as hell and not as scary as they advertise it to be.

Having visited the old London Dungeon's many times the new one has left us very disappointed.

I am sorry to say but the new London Dungeons is a complete disaster from start to finish, very disappointing, this was the chance to re-invent the dungeons using the very best 21st century technology, using the latest equipment etc., instead all they have done is move the whole lot over bit by bit to the newer building, so now its lost the feel of the old place which is understandable hence why you would use the latest technology available to create a new London Dungeon, where was the smoke? the lights etc? I am sure its got less effects then the old one?? Same rides (which were getting old and again the same old mirror room), a missed opportunity, Sorry to say that we will not be back!!!

After queuing for such a long while i was a little apprehensive about The London Dungeon. However the actors that are employed really put in a lot of effort to making the experience fun and exciting and really interact with each group, i have been back 2 days and i am still laughing at some of the encounters from the experience! I had thought that it would have been a bit tacky but it was very well thought out and some of the scenes or experiences were truly brilliant or unexpected. I will certainly bring others back. Definitely a London experience not to be missed if you like a laugh and if your not of a nervous disposition... you get to learn a little too!

I got discounted tickets online which I why I decided to visit at it is very expensive at full price. The queue was fine, we weren't waiting long at all. The tour itself was brilliant, I really enjoyed it. Research online to get discounted tickets and then visit, you'll enjoy it
