I have been visiting Trafalgar square for many years .This was always the place to "feed the pigeons"
We used to bring our own food but then it got commercialized and you had a seller with little cups of rice for an
exorbitant price for the tourists
It was supposed to be like the song ....."tuppence a bag"
I was very surprised to read other reviews with people actually knowing the history of Trafalgar which was great but as a child all you want to do is "feed the pigeons"
Trafalgar square is busy... there is nothing to do but sit on the lions and get a photo or sit by the fountains and reminisce
A major tourist attraction

It's a lovely square, there's no denying, as well as it being iconic to the UK, however the only issue I have with it is the amount of pigeons there. I know they cannot control them, but if there was less of them, it would be so much nicer.

Such a busy, busy place with people all over the place. Look up the history about the statues and monuments before you go... its really neat. In Trafalgar Square, there is a mini police station and some great places to take photos.

With so much to see & do in London, this is more a 'been there' moment than a dedicated destination. You will not hate yourself if you miss it.

Busy square with a lot of energy. You can get some great shots of Nelson's Column, the moment in the square.

The National Gallery is right in/by the square, so you can combine the two visits. Oh, and the gallery is free, so it's a great way of spending 2-3 hours immersed in art.
