Great place to people watch. Quite a few street performers that were much better than the ones by the London Eye- these ones weren't annoying or trying too hard to be funny.

Wonderful restaurants line the square, I didn't notice any real shopping- but that doesn't mean it wasn't there.

After coming from Big Ben, the temperature was still very low, we managed to get a few shots and then head on. It would be a completely different story during the summer months!

March visit in the snow this was, and very cold too. although there were pigeons about, they weren't flapping around as usual, probably too cold and wet. But Trafalgar Square is a unique place to visit, with the Lions 'protecting' Nelson, it gives a sense of pride. Nelson's birthplace being in North Norfolk, Burnham Thorpe,(which is were I come f is good to see the statue here and learn more knowledge.

Unfortunately for me when i visited they were having the Russian festival going on so the square was filled with tents and such, but i could tell that this would be an excellent place on a different day when none of that stuff is going on to sit down and just take London all in. Charing Cross Station exits right there.
